The Nintendo 64(Japanese:ニンテンドー64,Hepburn:Nintendō Rokujūyon), stylized as NINTENDO64 and often referred to as N64, is Nintendo's third home video game console for the international market. Named for its 64-bit central processing unit, it was released in June 1996 in Japan, September 1996 in North America, March 1997 in Europe and Australia, September 1997 in France and December 1997 in Brazil. It is the industry's last major home console to use the cartridge as its primary storage format, although current handheld systems (such as the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS) also use cartridges. While the Nintendo 64 was succeeded by Nintendo's MiniDVD-based GameCube in November 2001, the consoles remained available until the system was retired in late 2003.
Code named Project Reality, the console's design was mostly finalized by mid-1995, though Nintendo 64's launch was delayed until 1996. As part of the fifth generation of gaming, the system competed primarily with the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. The Nintendo 64 was launched with three games: Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64, released worldwide; and Saikyō Habu Shōgi, released only in Japan. The Nintendo 64's suggested retail price at launch was US$199.99 and it was later marketed with the slogan "Get N, or get Out!". With 32.93 million units worldwide, the console was ultimately released in a range of different colors and designs, and an assortment of limited-edition controllers were sold or used as contest prizes during the system's lifespan. IGN named it the 9th greatest video game console of all time; and in 1996, Time Magazine named it Machine of the Year.
Glover is a 1998 platformingvideo game developed by Blitz Games and published by Hasbro Interactive for the Nintendo 64 and Windows in 1998 and for the PlayStation in 1999. The game features a magical, four-fingered glove named Glover in his quest to restore the Crystal Kingdom by retrieving crystals that were lost.
The games received mixed reviews for the Nintendo 64 version while the Playstation version received more negative reviews. A sequel titled Glover 2 was planned but was eventually cancelled.
Gameplay
Players control a glove named Glover. The main objective is to maneuver the ball toward the goal in each stage. Once all three stages and the boss stage are cleared, a crystal ball can be restored back to the castle. There are a total of six worlds, each containing three stages, a boss stage and bonus stage which can be accessed by collecting all the magic cards known as "Garibs" in a given world. When Glover is in contact with the ball, he can roll, bounce, throw, slap, dribble, walk on top of the ball, and use the ball as a trampoline. Without the ball, Glover can do both regular and double jumps, cartwheel, fist slam, locate the ball and garibs, and grab the ball. When Glover is in contact with the ball, he can roll, bounce, throw, slap, dribble, walk on top of the ball, and use the ball as a trampoline. While walking on the ball, the controls are reversed. On the easy difficulty, walking on the ball is automatic while moving the ball across water. However bonus stages are unavailable.
"Damage" is a song by Americanhip hop artist Pharoahe Monch, released as the lead single from his fourth studio album, P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Prior to its release date, Pharoahe Monch's independent label, W.A.R. Media, published a visual trailer to YouTube on September 22, 2012. The song was officially made available for purchase worldwide on September 27, 2012, on the iTunes Music Store by W.A.R. Media in conjunction with Duck Down Music Inc.. The Lee Stone-produced song is the final piece to Pharoahe's "bullet" trilogy in which he anthropomorphizes a slug fired with the intent to annihilate, and tackles the issue of gun violence. The song and its cover art provide a chilling reminder that bullets have no name.
Background and concept
I don't [want to] approach the song as rhyming for the sake of riddling, but that's when I heard the chorus with a whole new meaning, coming from the perspective of a bullet like, “Listen to the way I slay your crew.” As a bullet, it doesn't [care] if you're white, black, Latino, pregnant mother, Pop, politician or whatever. I figured this was the best way to finish the trilogy.
Damage is a song by Jimmy Eat World, included on their album, Damage (2013).
A two-track 7-inch single was released on April 20, 2013 as a Record Store Day exclusive. Side A contains the title track "Damage" from the band's eighth studio album Damage. Side B features Jimmy Eat World's cover version of Radiohead's song "Stop Whispering". Only 1,800 copies of the EP were pressed (1,500 in the US and 300 internationally).

The Nintendo 64 chronicles, isolated and revolutionary | A Nintendo 64 Documentary
The Nintendo 64 is one of the most legendary and revolutionary game consoles in history due to its atypical controller, the choice to stay on the cartridge format when everyone else has chosen the CD support, because of the exceptional games that came out on the console and because of its unusual history. Today we go back to the epic of the Nintendo 64, a console that has marked history so much that all the innovations it brought are still used today but which, despite these revolutions, was not able to outsell the competition due to a series of twists that we are going to talk about today. Here is the uncanny story of the Nintendo 64, one the most revolutionary console of all time.

Oh, the Nintendo 64. It’s the console I probably have the fondest memories of since it was the first home console I’ve ever played. Oh, the Nintendo 64. It’s the console I probably have the fondest memories of since it was the first home console I’ve ever played. I remember getting up at 8am, having breakfast and then gaming until supper time, or until my parents literally forced me to stop playing. Those were the good ol’ days where I didn’t have a care in the world. Now, I have to worry about adult stuff like mortgage payments and going to work. It makes me wish I could go back in time to when all I had to worry about was how much time I’d be able to spend gaming each day.
If you’re like me and reminiscing about the Nintendo 64, then maybe you’re considering actually buying the console. I still own my N64, but if you want one, go get one! You definitely won’t regret it. For starters, it’s not very expensive to get a grey N64. If you want a special edition N64, like the blue and yellow Pikachu edition, then you’re going to need to shell out a bit more money, but you’ve got a collector’s item at that point. The games are the biggest selling point of the console since almost every single one of them is great.
There’s more reasons than just those to get a Nintendo 64 so enjoy the video, let me know whether or not you’re thinking of buying an N64 in 2021 in the comments section below and don’t forget to subscribe to TheGamer for more gaming tech content.
