The King's Singers are a Britisha cappellavocal ensemble founded in 1968. They are named after King's College in Cambridge, England, where the group was formed by six choral scholars. In the United Kingdom, their popularity peaked in the 1970s and early 1980s. Thereafter they began to reach a wider international audience, appearing frequently on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in the U.S. In 1987, they were prominently featured as guests on the Emmy Award winning ABC-TV special Julie Andrews: The Sound of Christmas.
Today the ensemble travels worldwide for its performances, appearing in around 125 concerts each year, mostly in Europe, the U.S. and the Far East, having recently added the People's Republic of China to their list of touring territories. In recent years the group have had several UK appearances at the Royal Albert Hall Proms and concerts as part of the Three Choirs Festival and the City of London Festival.
History
The group has always consisted of six singers in total, with their membership changing over the years. None of the original members remain. The first stable incarnation of the group, from late 1969 until 1978, comprised:
The novel is the story of two authors. Cornell University resident and author Stephen Titus George finds that his real life is becoming the main plot of a retired god, known as Mr. Sunshine. Mr. Sunshine, as god, prefers to create his works in real life instead of on paper. Stephen Titus George decides to fight with Mr. Sunshine about the authorship and outcome of the work.
On the stage of Cornell campus a rich set of secondary characters appears, like Cornell student Aurora Borealis Smith with whom Stephen Titus George falls in love, Ragnarok, the Bohemians, a dog named Luther, a cat named Blackjack, Puck, Calliope, a fire-breathing paper dragon as well as evil forces like Rasferret the Grub, a mannequin called Rubbermaid and an army of rats. The drama then unfolds, telling the story of the battle between Good and Evil and the efforts of the two authors to write the story towards either a happy ending or a tragic greek drama.
This is the first album featuring the second edition of Brasil '66. Mendes replaced all of the original band members (with the exception of lead singer Lani Hall). The dismissed members went on to form a short-lived group, The Carnival, which released one self-titled album in 1969. This is also the first appearance of Gracinha Leporace in a Sérgio Mendes album.

This anthem - originally written by Harry Dixon Loes as a Christian children's song - became a musical symbol of the civil rights movement in the 1960s and 70s. It's a song that brought people together at that time of challenge and strife, united by its central message of confidence and peace. The arrangement was made by Stacey V. The Symbolism of the Fool [Tarot card]
The Fool is a card in the Tarot, often given the number zero and regarded as the most ‘important’ card in the pack. W. B. Yeats in his Phases of the Moon, noted that of the three important ‘roles’ - the Fool, the ‘Hunchback’[the Tarot Hermit] and the ‘Saint’ [the Tarot Hanged Man], the Fool is at the farthest limits of spirituality, almost not of this earth. The root of the word "fool" is from the Latin follis, which means ‘ that which contains air or Breath’ filled with the breath of life – spiritual energy. In other words, the Fool is divine. A Fool is thus a ‘god’ in human form.

Visitors to London are often delighted to see the iconic Queens Guard standing motionless in their red coats in front of Buckingham Palace. While these guards are famous for not moving an inch even when tourists decide to mess with them, don’t let that fool you into thinking they’re just lazy or slow. In fact, the queen's guards are actually one of the most elite, highly trained and secretive soldiers in the entire world. Sure they look like fixtures to the palace, but push them too far or try to interfere with their duty and you’ll learn very quickly why that was a mistake. The elusive practices and duties of these elite, bearskin-clad guards are some of the most tightly kept secrets the English crown holds, but luckily for you we’ve got the inside scoop on these subtle warriors that will change the way you look at the seeming tourist attractions for the rest of your life. Think you can handle knowing the secrets of such an elite group?

One of the best films to show the characteristics of a Fool is ‘Being There’ which starred Peter Sellars as Chance. It was based on Jerzy Kosinski's English novel Being There which itself is similar to the best-selling Polish novel The Career of Nicodemus Dyzma by Tadeusz Dolega-Mostowicz.
WIKIPEDIA
In the final scene, as the party elite discuss their choice of Chance as their preferred candidate in the upcoming presidential election, Chance is seen wandering over the estate. He comes to the edge of a lake and then proceeds to seemingly defy gravity by walking on the surface of the water, and not sinking into it. Film critic Roger Ebert mentions this scene in his 2001 book The Great Movies, stating that his film students once suggested that Chance may be walking on a submerged pier. Ebert writes, "The movie presents us with an image, and while you may discuss the meaning of the image, it is not permitted to devise explanations for it. Since Ashby does not show a pier, there is no pier — a movie is exactly what it shows us, and nothing more."

Gibbs for our 'Finding Harmony' album which we released in 2020.

Day after day, alone on the hill
The man with the foolish grin
Is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
And he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head see the world spinning round
Well on his way, head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices
Is talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
.........

2 Being there
One of the best films to show the characteristics of a Fool is ‘Being There’ which starred Peter Sellars as Chance.

Why do I do, just as you say Why must I just, give you your way Why do I sigh, why don't I try to forget It must have been, That something lovers call fate Kept me saying: "I have to wait" I saw them all, Just couldn't fall 'til we met It had to be you, it had to be you I wandered around, and finally found The somebody who Could make me be true, And could make me be blue And even be glad, just to be sad Thinking of you Some others I've seen, Might never be mean Might never be cross, Or try to be boss But they wouldn't do For nobody else, gave me a thrill With all your faults, I Love you still It had to be you, wonderful you It had to be you
