Was Tacoma Narrows Bridge the wobbliest bridge in the world? Check out this amazing footage of the collapse of the world's third largest suspension bridge (at the time), Tacoma Narrows Bridge, Washington, in 1940. The only casualty was a dog who had been left in a stalled car by its owner.

Torbay (Torquay, Brixham and Paignton), South Devon.
Travelogue along the 20 mile stretch of South Devon coast presents attractions of Torquay, Brixham and Paignton as well as some villages along the coast. Each town is presented with the usual travel shots, and to make Torbay more attractive, famous people and various events are presented. In Torquay, where "international entertainer Max Bygraves chose to stay", one can watch waiters' race at Hotels Day. Waiters are seen racing with trays along the street.
In Brixham, where composer Lionel Bart stays, firm tradition of Elizabethan age is kept. Vintage cars are exhibited, replica of Golden Hind is anchored in harbour and Brixham's fishing fleet provides excellent food for tourists. Bikini babes and kids playing with sand are seen at Paignton beach.
The 'buzziest' place, after all, is Torquay. Lovely Cockington village for romantics, golf course where one rubs shoulders with celebrities (Val Doonican, Sid James and Arthur Askey on golf course) or mingle through the crowd at Carnival Time.

Various shots of German troops marching (goose-stepping) past Governor Admiral Horthy, Regent of Hungary in a huge military parade. German children watching in the crowds make the Nazi salute. Soldiers on horseback, large artillery guns and army tanks also take part in the parade.
Commentator talks of the new field gun with a barrel forty feet long that appeared for the first time here - "Cameramen were forbidden to photograph it... on pain of being charged with treason. No cameraman did photograph it - cameramen prefer to keep their heads!"
BRITISH PATHÉ'S STORY
Before television, people came to movie theatres to watch the news. British Pathé was at the forefront of cinematic journalism, blending information with entertainment to popular effect. Over the course of a century, it documented everything from major armed conflicts and seismic political crises to the curious hobbies and eccentric lives of ordinary people. If it happened, British Pathé filmed it.
Now considered to be the finest newsreel archive in the world, British Pathé is a treasure trove of 85,000 films unrivalled in their historical and cultural significance.
British Pathé also represents the Reuters historical collection, which includes more than 136,000 items from the news agencies Gaumont Graphic (1910-1932), Empire News Bulletin (1926-1930), British Paramount (1931-1957), and Gaumont British (1934-1959), as well as Visnews content from 1957 to the end of 1984. What is a Path? | Graph Theory
What is a path in the context of graph theory? We go over that in today's math lesson! We have discussed walks, trails, and even circuits, now it is about time we get to paths! Recall that a walk is a sequence of vertices in a graph, such that consecutive vertices are adjacent. A path is the same sort of thing but with two additional restrictions. What is a Path Graph? | Graph Theory
What is a path graph? We have previously discussed paths as being ways of moving through graphs without repeating vertices or edges, but today we can also talk about paths as being graphs themselves, and that is the topic of today's math lesson!
A path graph is a graph whose vertices can be labeled v_1, v_2, ..., v_n such that the edge set of the graph is given by { { v_i, v_{i+1} } | 1 is less than or equal to i is less than or equal to n }. Take a look at the first few path graphs in the video lesson, and you will surely see what structure these graphs have. They also have the unique property that they can be drawn entirely in a straight line, very cool!
I hope you find this video helpful, and be sure to ask any questions down in the comments!

Guide to Walks, Trails, Paths, Circuits, and Cycles! [Graph Theory Tutorial]
This video explains walks, trails, paths, circuits, and cycles in graph theory.
In graph theory, a walk is defined as a sequence of alternating vertices and edges, like Vertex 1, Edge 1, Vertex 2, Edge 2, etc. Walks are how we traverse a network. In a walk, you are allowed to repeat edges and vertices as many times as you'd like. A trail, on the other hand, is a walk in which you do not repeat edges. And a path is a walk in which you do not repeat edges and you do not repeat vertices (note that the set of paths in a graph is a subset of trails in that graph).
I think it's important to know that some authors do define these terms slightly differently; some refer to what we just called a 'trail' as a 'path' as well, while referring to what we called a 'path' as a 'simple path' instead.

Firstly, no edge can be traversed more than once. Secondly, no vertex can be traversed more than once. And, to make things simpler, you can actually just think of this as one restriction. The one restriction is that you cannot traverse any vertex more than once. This restriction forces you to also not traverse any edge more than once, so it is sufficient all on its own. Thus, a path is a sequence of vertices in a graph, where consecutive vertices in the sequence are adjacent in the graph, and no vertex appears more than once in the sequence.
Let's look at an example. Say we have the graph G = (V, E) where V = {a, b, c, d, e, f, g} and E = {ac, af, ag, be, bg, ce, cd, dg, ef}. Then, here is an example of a walk in G:
W = (a, c, e, f, a, g, b, a, c).
This is a walk, but it is not a path because some vertices and some edges are traversed multiple times. Here is an example of a trail in G:
T = (a, c, e, b, g, a, f).
This is a trail, since no edge is traversed more than once, but it is not a path because a vertex is traversed more than once. Finally, we see a path:
P = (a, f, e, c, d).
This is a path because it is a sequence of vertices in G where consecutive vertices are adjacent, and no vertex appears more than once.
You can think of paths as being how we move from one place to another. If we want to go from our home to the grocery store, we don't drive halfway to the store, back through our town via some other road, then go to the store, we just go to the store. We don't travel a road or a town multiple times on our way to the store unless we take a wrong turn. So, we are trying to travel in a way analogous to paths.
An alternative way of defining paths, which is often used instead, is for them to be a sequence of alternating vertices and edges. In this way of defining a path, the path starts and ends with a vertex, but after a vertex you list the edge traveled, then the vertex you are on, then the edge traveled, and so on up until the final vertex you stop at. So remember our path P = (a, f, e, c, d). If we were to write this path using this alternative definition, we would write P = (a, af, f, fe, e, ec, c, cd, d). This way of defining paths lets the edges traversed be much more explicit, since they are listed out right in the sequence instead of being implied by the vertices traveled. This definition is sometimes preferred, and is very common.

1. Walk – A walk is a sequence of vertices and edges of a graph i.e. if we traverse a graph then we get a walk.
2. Trail – Trail is an open walk in which no edge is repeated.
3. Path – It is a trail in which neither vertices nor edges are repeated i.e. if we traverse a graph such that we do not repeat a vertex and nor we repeat an edge. As path is also a trail, thus it is also an open walk.
4. Circuit – Traversing a graph such that not an edge is repeated but vertex can be repeated and it is closed also i.e. it is a closed trail.
5. Cycle – Traversing a graph such that we do not repeat a vertex nor we repeat a edge but the starting and ending vertex must be same i.e. we can repeat starting and ending vertex only then we get a cycle.
