Choolaah took flight eight years ago when it opened its first restaurant in Orange Village. Since then, the regional restaurant group has gone on to open six more locations, with its latest one landing in the heart of Ohio City, just steps from the West Side Market.
The fast-casual eatery struck a chord with diners thanks to a winning formula that makes authentic Indian food accessible and approachable. Starting a fast casual restaurant isn't easy nor cheap so my advise is to educate yourself in everything fast casual, café and restaurant related so that you are aware of the potentials challenges you will have to face in the future. I have many videos on my channel, talking about my experiences and lessons learnt when starting my own so pop down there if you want to learn more. Its just me talking in those videos but if it can provide some insight into what you want to do then do go there or just watch different videos, read articles and books, seek information online and talk to business owners who are doing what you want to do.
