Dan Barnes (Steve Austin) is a former professional boxer who was retired from boxing after a growing weary of his violent existence. Now a school janitor, Dan tries to help a new student, Matthew Miller (Daniel Magder), who recently joined the new school and is being targeted by bullies. While Matthew learns how to box and stand up to his tormentors, one of whom is the school boxing champ (Jaren Brandt Bartlett), Dan's new found role as a teacher helps him come to terms with his tumultuous past.
Knockout Literary Magazine is a bi-annual literary magazine published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, since 2007. Financed by its two editors, Jeremy Halinen and Brett Ortler, it is known for the wide range of styles it publishes, its nearly 50/50 mix of LGBT and straight writers, and its dedication to social causes.
History
Knockout was founded in summer 2007 by Jeremy Halinen and Brett Ortler after both graduated from Eastern Washington University's Master of Fine Arts Program. They had previously served as poetry editors at Eastern Washington's Willow Springs.
The first issue was all poetry and 140 pages long, with a print run of 1,000 copies. A second issue, which includes interviews, poetry, and fiction, was released Spring 2009.
Work Published
Knockout's inaugural issue featured work by a National Book Award winner (Robert Bly), former U.S. Poet Laureate (Billy Collins), U.S. state Poets Laureate (Marvin Bell, Iowa; Robert Bly, Minnesota), as well as winners of many major awards, including the $100,000 Kingsley-Tufts Poetry Prize (Thomas Lux) and the Lamont Poetry Prize (Marvin Bell), among many others. In addition, many of the poets published in Knockout have been awarded the Pushcart Prize. The second and third issues will include work by other notable poets and award winners, including a Nobel Prize for Literature recipient.
Knockout is a standalone JavaScript implementation of the Model-View-ViewModel pattern with templates. The underlying principles are therefore:
a clear separation between domain data, view components and data to be displayed
the presence of a clearly defined layer of specialized code to manage the relationships between the view components
The latter leverages the native event management features of the JavaScript language.
These features streamline and simplify the specification of complex relationships between view components, which in turn make the display more responsive and the user experience richer.
Knockout was developed and is maintained as an open source project by Steve Sanderson, a Microsoft employee. As the author said, "it continues exactly as-is, and will evolve in whatever direction I and its user community wishes to take it", and stressed, "this isn’t a Microsoft product".

"Electric" is an English language single by Swedish pop/synth rock band Melody Club, taken from their 2002 debut album Music Machine. "Electric" was a follow-up single to their debut single "Palace Station" from the same album.
It reached #18 on its first week of release, its highest position, staying for 20 weeks in the Swedish Singles Chart from 21 November 2002 until 3 April 2003.

Slava version
Slava (in Russian:Сла́ва), a Russian dance act, made a cover of the song in 2010. Released in Russia, it was also made available in Sweden as it is a cover of a popular Swedish band, and it features in the Slava version a Swedish singer Velvet. The Swedish release was on Warner Sweden and Extensive Music Sweden.
"Electric" is a song by Swedish recording artist Robyn from her second studio album My Truth (1999). It was released as the album's lead single on 29 April 1999 by BMG Sweden. Robyn wrote the track in collaboration with its producers Ulf Lindström and Johan Ekhé. The single artwork features the singer wearing a feather headpiece designed by Sebastian Wahl. Musically, "Electric" is an electronicfunk song, and the lyrics address unexpected life events that make one feel alive.
"Electric" was hailed by music critics as a highlight on My Truth. It achieved commercial success in Sweden, with a peak position of number six on the Sverigetopplistan chart and a gold certification by the Swedish Recording Industry Association (GLF). Though it was initially planned to be serviced internationally, "Electric" and its parent album were never released outside of Sweden due to a dispute between Robyn and her overseas label RCA Records.
Background
"Electric" was written by Robyn, Ulf Lindström and Johan Ekhé. Lindström and Ekhé recorded Robyn's vocals and produced the track at Lifeline Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. Lindström and Patrik Berger played the guitar, while all other instruments as well as mixing were handled by Lindström and Ekhé. Hernan "Boogie" Donoso served as an assistant engineer and Björn Engelmann mastered the song at Cutting Room Studios in Stockholm. "Electric" is an electronicfunk song with elements of R&B and reggae music. In a chat room provided by Swedish tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet, Robyn elaborated on the lyrical matter of the song when asked by a fan; she stated that it is about unexpected events in life, both good and bad, that are "fantastic" and make one feel alive.
