The historic district is an irregularly shaped but "roughly square 20-block commercial and residential neighborhood of modest 19th- and early 20th-century structures lying near the center of New Haven, Connecticut." The district is located immediately west of the center of Downtown New Haven and is generally bounded by Whalley Avenue on the north, Park Street on the east, North Frontage Road on the south, and Sherman Avenue on the west.
A dong or neighborhood is a submunicipal level administrative unit of a city and of those cities which are not divided into wards throughout Korea. The unit is often translated as neighborhood and has been used in both administrative divisions of North Korea and South Korea.
In South Korea
A dong is the smallest level of urban government to have its own office and staff in South Korea. In some cases, a single legal-status neighborhood is divided into several administrative neighborhoods. In such cases, each administrative dong has its own office and staff. Administrative dongs are usually distinguished from one another by number (as in the case of Myeongjang 1-dong and Myeongjang 2-dong).
The primary division of a dong is the tong (통/統), but divisions at this level and below are seldom used in daily life. Some populous dong are subdivided into ga (가/街), which are not a separate level of government, but only exist for use in addresses. Many major thoroughfares in Seoul, Suwon, and other cities are also subdivided into ga.
In graph theory, an adjacent vertex of a vertexv in a graph is a vertex that is connected to v by an edge. The neighbourhood of a vertex v in a graph G is the induced subgraph of G consisting of all vertices adjacent to v. For example, the image shows a graph of 6 vertices and 7 edges. Vertex 5 is adjacent to vertices 1, 2, and 4 but it is not adjacent to 3 and6. The neighbourhood of vertex 5 is the graph with three vertices, 1, 2, and4, and one edge connecting vertices 1 and2.
The neighbourhood is often denoted NG(v) or (when the graph is unambiguous)N(v). The same neighbourhood notation may also be used to refer to sets of adjacent vertices rather than the corresponding induced subgraphs. The neighbourhood described above does not include v itself, and is more specifically the open neighbourhood of v; it is also possible to define a neighbourhood in which v itself is included, called the closed neighbourhood and denoted by NG[v]. When stated without any qualification, a neighbourhood is assumed to be open.
Neighbourhood is the second solo album released by session drummer Manu Katché. While his first offering, It's About Time, was considered a rock/funk album, Neighbourhood is solid jazz. Katché composed all of the music on the album.
