"Domino" is a song written by the band Genesis for their 1986 album Invisible Touch. The song was the sixth track on the album. The music was written by the band, while the lyrics were written by keyboardistTony Banks. The song is divided into two parts, "In the Glow of the Night" and "The Last Domino".
The song, though not released as a single, charted at number 29 on the Mainstream Rock Charts.
The B-side of the "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" single was the first half of this song, "In the Glow of the Night", while the B-side of "Invisible Touch" was the second part of the song, "The Last Domino".
During a clip titled "Tony talks about his inspiration" on the When in Rome 2007 DVD, Banks states that his inspiration for the song lyrics was the 1982 Lebanon War which was still being contested prior to the recording of Invisible Touch. He set the action on a hotel room in Beirut, minutes after bombs start to fall on the city.

Musically, "Domino" is an electropop and dance-pop song. Jessie J co-wrote "Domino" with its producers, Dr. Luke and Cirkut, with extra writing from Claude Kelly and Max Martin.
The song became Jessie J's second number-one single in the UK, following her previous collaboration with Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly titled "Price Tag" (2011). Background and composition
"Domino" was written by Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Claude Kelly, Max Martin, Henry "Cirkut" Walter, and Jessie J herself, while production was helmed by Dr. Luke and Cirkut. In July, 2011, Jessie J teased her fans via her official Twitter profile whilst posting 21-second clip of the song. "Domino" officially premiered on 16 August 2011 on Jessie J's official YouTube account. During an interview with MTV Buzzworthy, Jessie J further explained the concept behind the song, "People have heard 'Domino' and said 'it's nothing like you.' But I'm like well the album's really eclectic anyway, and I never go into the studio and say 'I wanna do another song that's like 'Price Tag' or another song like 'Do It Like a Dude'." In the same interview Jessie J unveiled that she often listened to Whitney Houston and Prince, so she came up with an idea to write a song that is "timeless, fun and uplifting". The song was released as lead single from the platinum edition of Jessie J's debut album Who You Are and fifth overall.
The luminaries were what traditional astrologers called the two astrological "planets" which were the brightest and most important objects in the heavens, that is, the Sun and the Moon. Luminary means, source of light. The sun and moon, being the most abundant sources of light to the inhabitants of Earth are known as luminaries. The astrological significance warrants the classification of the Sun and Moon separately from the planets, in that the Sun and Moon have to do with Man's spiritual consciousness, while the planetary influences operate through the physical mechanism. The Sun and Moon were considered the rulers of day, and night, in accordance with the doctrine of astrology of sect: diurnal (or daytime) planets, which were ruled by the Sun, and nocturnal (or nighttime) planets, which were ruled by the Moon.
Luminary, a public sculpture by American artist Jeff Laramore, is located on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus, which is near downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. This sculpture is made from onyx stone and sits as the cornerstone of the IU Simon Cancer Center at the north-west corner of Michigan and University Streets.
The focal point of the sculpture is an onyx stone sphere that is illuminated at night. The sphere is approximately 50 inches (1.3m) high with a circumference of 157 inches (4.0m). The core sphere of the sculpture is surrounded by concrete supports pieces designed in a wave-like pattern. The dimensions of the sculpture with the concrete supports are approximately 4 feet (1.2m) high, 41 feet (12m) long, and 5 feet (1.5m) wide.
Design
Luminary consists of a sphere shape sculpture surrounded by a concrete wave design. The central sphere is made from thin tiles of onyx stone, specifically Sardonyx a variety of agate with reddish-brown dark and light bands of color. Each of the stone tiles ranges in size from 2 to 4inches long with varying widths and are arranged in a swirling pattern. The sculpture is neutral in color with the stone varying from light flesh tone shades of beige to softer pink and reddish hues.
