Additionally, she won the WTA Tour Championships in 1980 and the year-ending Toyota Championships in 1981, both in singles.
Austin remains the youngest US Open female singles champion (age 16) and the youngest inductee into the International Tennis Hall of Fame at age 29. She won thirty singles titles during her career, on all playing surfaces: clay (both red and green), indoor carpet, grass, and hard courts. A series of injuries and a serious automobile accident in 1989 cut short her career.[4][5]
Early life
Tracy Austin was born December 12, 1962 in Palos Verdes Peninsula, California.[6] Her parents were George and Jeanne Austin.[7]
Career
Tracy Austin playing in the Los Angeles Junior Tennis Tournament
1977 to 1980
In January 1977, a month after turning fourteen, Austin won her first professional singles title, defeating Stacy Margolin at the Avon Futures event in Portland.[8][9] As an amateur she could not accept the prize money.[10][8] At her Wimbledon debut in 1977 she reached the third round where she lost to top-seeded Chris Evert. In September, she made her US Open debut and reached the quarterfinal, falling to fifth-seeded Betty Stöve.[11]
Less than two months before her sixteenth birthday, Austin turned professional in October 1978.[12] That same month, she won her first professional singles title, defeating Betty Stöve in the final of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Filderstadt, West Germany.[13][14]
She followed up with tournament wins in Tokyo and Washington, defeating Martina Navratilova in both finals.[15] Austin defeated 35-year-old Billie Jean King in the quarterfinals of the 1979 Wimbledon Championships, then lost to Navratilova in straight sets in the semifinals. Austin then became the youngest ever US Open champion, aged 16 years and 9 months, by defeating second-seeded Navratilova in the semifinals and first-seeded Chris Evert in the final.[16][11] Evert had been attempting to win the title for the fifth consecutive year.[11] Earlier that year, Austin ended Evert's 125-match winning streak on clay by beating her in three sets in a semifinal of the Italian Open.[17][16]
1981 to 1983
During the first four months of 1981, Austin played only two events because of chronic injuries. On grass, she defended her singles title at the Eastbourne International in the United Kingdom in June without losing a set. After Wimbledon, Austin won 26 consecutive matches and four consecutive tournaments.[16] She defeated Pam Shriver in the final of the Wells Fargo Open in San Diego, and three weeks later, she beat both Navratilova and Evert in straight sets to win the Canadian Open in Toronto. As the third-seeded player at the US Open, Austin defeated fourth-seeded Navratilova in a three-set final. Navratilova, however, ended Austin's winning streak in the final of the U.S. Indoor Championships.
Austin was the first opponent of Steffi Graf when the German made her professional debut at the 1982 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. Austin defeated the 13-year-old Graf 6–4, 6–0.
Back injuries and recurring sciatica then began to impair Austin's effectiveness and sidelined her for long stretches. Billie Jean King, seeded twelfth, upset third-seeded Austin in the 1982 Wimbledon quarterfinals. Several weeks later, however, Austin won her 30th and final top-level singles title in San Diego. Austin had a good showing at the 1982 season-ending Toyota Series Championships where she defeated Jaeger, the world No. 3, in straight sets to reach the semifinals. However, she was unable to repeat 1981's victory over Evert, who defeated her in the semifinals.
In 1983, she was the runner-up at the Family Circle Cup, losing the final to Navratilova in three sets. She also reached the quarterfinals of the French Open.
1984 to 1989
Austin played sporadically from 1984 to 1987 and tried yet another comeback on the tour in 1988 when she played in seven doubles tournaments, and in 1989, when she played in one doubles and two singles tournaments. A highlight of this comeback included a semifinal showing in the 1988 US Open mixed doubles with partner Ken Flach.[21] This comeback was ended by a near-fatal motor vehicle accident in Millburn, New Jersey, on August 3, 1989. A van coming from the opposite direction crashed into her vehicle's driver side, and she suffered a bruised heart, a bruised spleen, a sprained back and a shattered knee.[5][22]

Life in Japan starts here as baby and you can see how certain behaviors are taught to babies like saying itadakimasu before the baby eats. I hope you enjoy watching the life of this Tokyo family and their life in Tokyo.

As a Japanese game planner, it’s important to have strong management and communication skills. It’s not enough to be creative and come up with ideas, but a planner must also be able to organize these ideas, create proposals and specification documents in order to effectively communicate their ideas to their teams. Apparently, it took a total of 7 years of development to complete the game Neko Golf. In fact, the development itself froze after 4 years, but then was later restarted and the team restructured when Shuta joined the team 3 years ago. For many playing the game, they’ll probably never truly understand how much time went into creating it, but for the team I’m sure there’s a great sense of completing the game.

Hey everyone, it's Charlotte Dobre here, and today we're going to be talking about entitled people. Have you ever wondered what it was like to spend a day in the life of an entitled person? You know the type - those individuals who think that the world owes them something, who demand special treatment and believe that rules don't apply to them.
In this video, we're going to delve into the psychology of entitled people, exploring why they act the way they do and what makes them think that they're above everyone else. We'll also be sharing some stories and examples of entitled behavior, both in real life and on social media.
From the entitled Karen who demands to speak to the manager over the slightest inconvenience, to the entitled influencer who thinks they deserve freebies just because of their follower count, we'll be taking a closer look at the various forms that entitlement can take.
But it's not all doom and gloom - we'll also be discussing ways to deal with entitled people, whether you're dealing with them in your personal life or in a customer service or work setting. We'll share some tips on how to set boundaries, stand up for yourself, and avoid getting caught up in their entitlement trap.
So, if you're ready to learn more about entitled people and how to deal with them, make sure to hit that subscribe button and tune in to this video. Let's get started!

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

A day in the life of a Japanese Kinako Roasted Soybean Powder Maker in Tokyo Japan. Kinako powder though, uniquely known for it’s soft flour-like, sweet and nutty taste, originated in Japan during it’s nara & heian period and was used as a medicine by the wealthy due it’s exceptional nutritional value, but now commonly eaten with with many Japanese sweets like mochi and even dairy products. Ogawa Sangyo, a local Kinako factory that’s been expertly crafting roasted soybean powder since 1908 when Keisuke’s great grandfather started the factory. Companies like this, with a long history are called Shinise and are quite common in Japan as there are about 43,000 companies which are more than 100 years old, more than any other country in the world, and their mostly family owned. While owned by the 3rd generation father, the 4 generation son, Keisuke, is working hard to take over the family business and all of the roasted soybean flour production responsibilities. We follow Keisuke through his day in living in Tokyo, from morning until evening to see how he is running the Japanese kinako roasted soybean powder factory. Understanding this, he attended a specialized commercial high school, which concentrated on business knowledge, studied law at university and then worked at professional kitchen appliance company for 10 years, and with all this experience finally returned to help continue on the legacy. The factory used Fuku-yutaka Soybeans known for its exquisite sweetness grown in the rich and fertile soil of saga prefecture. On an average day like this, the factory processes about 600kg, 1320 lbs of their raw soybeans, which will ultimately yield 30x 18kg 40lb bags of sweet roasted finely ground kinako powder. This is Keisuke's typical factory work day in Japan.

A day in the life of a Japanese Square Enix Game Illustrator. Square Enix is one of the top video game developers in Japan, creating ultra popular titles known-worldwide such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts and making it all happen, 3700 hard working employees. Today, we follow a Japanese Game Illustrator working in the Japanese game development company from morning until the evening. We show what a typical work day in Japan would be including her typical work hours as a Japanese game illustrator working for Square Enix. We also see her morning routine and after work hobbies. Also this is what it would be like working for a popular Japanese game company and the different staff you may come across during a typical work day. The Japanese game industry has so many different jobs so it was great to be able to show another job outside of game development and game programming. Rubi has been working as a video game illustrator in Japan for 6 years now. Even as a little girl she loved to draw but growing up couldn’t envision a proper career where she could pursue her passion. So she entered University majoring in a completely different field, but when her job hunting started, she discovered that there were prestigious Japanese companies were offering illustration jobs. Recognizing the opportunity, she convinced her parents to let her study Character Design at a Professional Training College, ultimately leading to her dream job at her current company, Square Enix and working with Art Directors like Toshiyuki Itahana.

Japanese work day at a Japanese office for an average Japanese salaryman in a Tokyo office. Living in Japan and working in Japan is quite a unique experience. This is a day in the life of Japanese worker, Makoto, 27 years old who lives in a Tokyo 3-story house with his family. This Tokyo salaryman works in a small Tokyo office, but spends many of his Japan working hours traveling from client to client on the Tokyo trains. Makoto works for a company called Mobal and as many Japanese salarymen, he entered the company straight from a Japanese University and he plans to spend his entire salaryman career at the same company. That is the life in Japan for a salaryman. We take a look inside what it's like to work in a small Tokyo office as well as to visit clients throughout Tokyo city area. His job experiences maybe unique to his company, but fundamentally he is very much an average salaryman. He commutes by train everyday to get to work and has to ride his mama-chari bike to get to the train station from his home. This Tokyo salaryman life has him arriving to work early and working late. As a salaryman, Makoto receives a standard salary every month for all the long work hours. The Japanese office is also configured so his boss' desk is right in front of him, quite a Japanese style office working environment. This very average Japanese work day and work lifestyle showcases a true day in Japan work life.

https://wn.com/Day_In_The_Life_Of_An_Average_Japanese_Salaryman_In_Tokyo
