What is craft beer? Craft beer is produced by craft brewers who are generally independent brewers. They tend to be smaller. How Craft Beer Is Made
Beavertown is one of the UK's largest craft breweries located in Tottenham, London. The brewery is known for its range of flavorful craft beers, which include IPAs and porters. The brewing process begins with releasing sugars by adding malted barley to hot water. Oats, rye, or wheat are added at this stage to bring out different flavors. This process is called mashing. Once the sugars are released, hops are added to the mixture.

What is craft beer? Craft beer is produced by craft brewers who are generally independent brewers. They tend to be smaller. Some people have specific definitions about their sizes but just think of them as smaller breweries. They're owned by primarily themselves, the people who are making, producing the beer, bringing the product to you, and that helps them with one of my favorite aspects of craft beer, which is to make it very community-minded.
So they'll be the first people, say, to, you know, donate kegs for a community fundraiser. They also tend to have, in my opinion, an extremely high quality of beer and that's because they're really involved in the everyday, day to day process of brewing.
So you can wind up with craft beer that is really just that, finely crafted. It's a finely crafted product, and to me that's what makes it great because you're involved with the people who are bringing that product to you. It's, you know, very, very good in general and everyone's integrity is really on the line with every pint that they serve. So, in a nutshell, that is what craft beer is.

Whether you are planning to make a full exit in the near future, looking to just take some chips off the table, or simply wanting to stay “in the know” on industry current events and trends, please join us for an informative and interactive discussion on business valuation trends and market activity within the craft beer industry. In this presentation, we will dive into key items to consider in order to position your craft brewery to maximize potential sale value down the road. In addition, we will discuss current merger & acquisition trends (types of transactions, transaction volume, multiples, and more) to bring you up to speed on transaction activity within the industry. Finally, we will introduce Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and detail why ESOPs are so popular in the craft beer industry and why forming one could be the answer to your exit planning needs.
