How a Circuit Breaker Works in Slow Motion - Warped Perception - 4K
If you've ever wondered how that pesky circuit breaker Works inside when your lights turn off, then this is the episode you need to watch.
I open up a household circuit breaker and replicate a couple very common household fault scenarios, I film it with the high-speed cameras to reveal exactly what's going on inside that circuit breaker.

EP13: Circuit Breaker pattern for distributed systems | Hand on using Spring boot and Resilience4J
Circuit Breaker Pattern
The Circuit Breaker pattern is a popular design pattern used in Microservices Architecture, that falls under the Sustainable Design Patterns category. In Microservices architecture, a service usually calls other services to retrieve data, and there is the chance that the downstream service may be down. It may be cause by slow network connection, timeouts, or temporal unavailability. Therefore, retrying calls can solve the issue. However, if there is a severe issue on a particular microservice, then it will be unavailable for a longer time. In such case, the request will be continuously sent to that service, since the client doesn’t have any knowledge about a particular service being down. As a result, the network resources will be exhausted with low performance and ...

Faraday Cage: History and Importance
Why did Faraday build his cage back in 1837? This deep dive goes from Benjamin Franklin to Coulomb in the 1700s to the development of radio waves and the Tesla coil. Then I go even further to how the Faraday cage helped JJ Thomson to discover the electron and how it is used to save us from microwaves, EMPs and electronic snooping.

Solar Roadways, IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS!
Ball park numbers:
to 25 000 sq miles = 90 bn square meters.
At about 4 tiles per m2, thats 240 billion tiles.
At 50 LEDs each, thats 12 trillion LEDS.
These need to be light up ALL the time you want road markings!
300 LEDs takes about 60 Watts.
Cheap electricity is about 0.06 dollars per kW Hr
So to run 300 LEDs for 1 hr coast about half a cent.
To run 12 trillion LEDs for 1hr costs about 150 million dollars!
4 billion dollars per day,
1.4 trillion dollars per year.
They will take more power just to run the LEDs than will be generated by the road!!!
And thats not including the cost of building the infrastructure, or the fact that the LED probably will need to be replaced about every 5 years.

Homemade Charcoal
In this episode I see if the charcoal that's left over from producing wood gas will burn, and not only do I try to burn it but I also try and cook with it, I was very surprised with the results.
this video was requested by quite a few viewers who are wondering whether or not this type of carbon or charcoal will burn like ordinary charcoal.
apparently all types of charcoal are mainly carbon, and from what I've read, carbon is a fuel if mixed with an oxygen source.
very interesting stuff, I've included a few reference links below if you want to learn more about the subject I'll charcoal, carbon and what it's used for.

As a result, the network resources will be exhausted with low performance and bad user experience. Also, the failure of one service might lead to Cascading failures throughout the application.

Carbon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon
Carbon is the 15th most abundant element in the Earth's crust, and the fourth most abundant element in the universe by mass after hydrogen, helium, and oxygen.
Charcoal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charcoal
Charcoal is the lightweight black carbon and ash residue hydrocarbon produced by removing water and other volatile constituents from animal and vegetation substances.
Wood gas: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wood_gas
Wood gas is a syngas fuel which can be used as a fuel for furnaces, stoves and vehicles in place of gasoline, diesel or other fuels.
