Ex-Girlfriend is an all-female quartet formed by New Jack Swing Group Full Force signed on Reprise Records who began revival in 2008.
Group history
Ex-Girlfriend is a female band, formed by New Jack Swing Group Full Force. The quartet hailing from Brooklyn, New York were signed to Reprise Records and released two studio albums before disbanding in 1994. Members include Stacy Francis, Monica Boyd, Julia Roberson, and Tisha Hunter, all later given the surname "X" to match their concept of "female militarism".
In 1989 they performed background vocals for Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam on the song "Just Git It Together" and in 1990, they sang on Jasmine Guy's debut single "Try Me". In 1991 they released "Why Can't You Come Home", the first single from their debut album, "X Marks The Spot." The single went on to become a Top 5 hit on the Billboard R&B chart and made #90 on the Hot 100 Singles chart. The second single released from their debut album was titled "You (You're The One For Me)", followed by the radio singles "With All My Heart" and "What I Would Do To You". After a three-year hiatus, Ex-Girlfriend returned in 1994 with the single "X In Your Sex", from their sophomore follow-up "It's A Woman Thang". The album saw lukewarm reviews and little to no success. The ladies would soon disband within the same year.
Christopher Cross "Chris" Griffin is a character from the animated television seriesFamily Guy. He is the elder son and middle child of Peter and Lois Griffin, brother of Stewie and Meg Griffin. Chris is voiced by Seth Green. Originally designed as a rebellious teenager, Chris' personality on the show has evolved to unhygienic and mentally immature. Running gags involving Chris in the series include the existence of an 'Evil Monkey' in his closet (though it is later revealed that the monkey is not evil), and his pedophile admirer Herbert.
Character origins
Chris' character resembles Milt, the son of the main character Larry Cummings in The Life of Larry, one of the animated short films created by Seth MacFarlane at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1995 that led to the development of Family Guy. Chris was originally given a "punk" image, according to creator Seth MacFarlane's DVD commentary tracks. He wore earrings during the first three seasons, and his painful awkwardness was not as emphasized as it is later in the series.
This is a list of the main characters in the Emmy-nominated TV series Everybody Hates Chris. The fictional family is loosely based on that of the real-life Chris Rock.
Main characters
Note: While the protagonist is clearly based upon Chris Rock, the surname "Rock" is never used when referring to the character Chris or any member of his family.
Chris
Tyler James Williams as Chris, the ambitious, normal, responsible, kind-hearted, but unlucky, unpopular, untalented, nonathletic, nonacademic, hapless, awkward, nerdy, vulnerable eldest child and main protagonist of the series. He wishes he was more like his younger brother, Drew. Regardless of whether Chris possesses any of these traits, he's certainly never treated as if he does.(being disliked by the opposite race, unlike his siblings) He tries hard to fit in with his peers, but often finds himself a victim of circumstance. Chris is bullied at school (with little help from teachers or faculty members), tortured by his sister, shown up by his brother, victimized by the racist teaching staff, gets his money stolen by neighborhood thugs, does poorly in class, is underpaid at work, and receives tough love from his mother and distressing treatment from his father. As the eldest child, he is often put in charge of his younger siblings, but they usually disobey him. Next to all this, Chris is always the butt of the last jokes on each show. People just seem to hate him for inexplicable reasons. His luck improves as the series progresses. One of his talents is playing Asteroids and the other is calling basketball games. As he gets older, Chris becomes interested in stand-up comedy and begins telling jokes in school. At the end of the series- after he was late for class because of his repeating the tenth grade- he drops out of school and gets his GED.
"Chris" is the fourth episode of the British teen drama Skins. It was written by Jack Thorne and directed by Adam Smith. It premiered in the UK on E4 on 15 February 2007. It is told from the point of view of main character Chris Miles.
Plot synopsis
Chris wakes up one morning sporting a priapism as he took an entire packet of Viagra the previous day. Chris feeds his fish speed and heads for downstairs. He finds a note from his mum saying she has left 'for a few days', and an envelope full of money (£1000 in total). Chris decides to blow the money, of course, on a wild house party. He invites all of his friends, and the love of his life, his psychology teacher, Angie. Initially irritated that Chris lied to her about other teachers coming, Angie eventually gives in and agrees to dance with him. She leaves in disgust, however, when she feels his Viagra-fueled erection.
Girlfriend was a five-girl pop group from Australia, formed in 1991. Their debut album Make It Come True was released in 1992 and contained four ARIA top 50 singles, including the #1 hit, "Take It From Me". After the departure of member Robyn Loau, the group changed its name to GF4.
Background and history
Three of the members — Jacqueline Cowell, Siobhánn Heidenreich and Melanie Alexander — first met while taking dance lessons at age three. Years later, they decided to form a pop group, and, through their dance teacher Janice Breen, met Noel MacDonald, a singer, songwriter and jingle producer who saw promise in them. Two more singers were added to the group – Robyn Loau, who MacDonald saw singing at Australia's Wonderland Theme Park, and Lorrinda Noble, who auditioned for the group. Singer and choreographerKelley Abbey was also brought in to choreograph the group's dance moves. The quintet was signed to a deal with RCA Records Australia (now part of Sony Music) in 1991, after a year of self-promotion. The band were formed with the ambition of being both Australia and Asia's #1 girl band, with the band members, particularly Robyn Loau, undertaking extensive Japanese lessons.
"Girlfriend" is a song by British rockbandThe Darkness, released as the third and final single from their second studio album, One Way Ticket to Hell... And Back. Released on 22 May 2006, it was the band's last single before their five-year disbandment later that year. The song is written from the perspective of a man who has cheated on his girlfriend with another woman. He tells his now angry girlfriend in the first verse that the other girl meant nothing to him. In the second verse he admits that the relationship is over and his once girlfriend is now his ex. The music video for the song is inspired by the film Flashdance. The song was a disappointment, only charting at #39 on the UK Singles Chart. This was the band's lowest charting single since 2003 single "Get Your Hands off My Woman".
In My Own Words is the debut studio album by American recording artist Ne-Yo, released on February 28, 2006. Four singles were released from the album, "Stay", "So Sick", "When You're Mad", and "Sexy Love". The first single, "Stay", was not as successful is its successors, being Ne-Yo's only song so far to not chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 301,000 copies sold. Ne-Yo went on tour in August 2006 with Chris Brown and Dem Franchize Boyz. The album was subsequently certified platinum with 1.6 million copies sold in the U.S., and 2 million copies sold worldwide. Upon its release, the album received generally positive reviews from most music critics, based on an aggregate score of 69/100 from Metacritic.
Background
Ne-Yo wrote the lyrics for each song on the album. Norwegian producers StarGate produced the hit single, "So Sick", and also contributed "Sexy Love", "Let Go", and "Time" for the debut LP. Other producers on the album include Ron "Neff-U" Feemster, Brian "B-Nasty" Reid, and Jai "King" Titus of Drama Family Entertainment, who produced the first single, "Stay", and the club-friendly "Sign Me Up" as well.
Seth Green Does a Prequel Star Wars Family Guy Mashup! (Talkin' Toons w/ Rob Paulsen)
Family Guy has already made Chris Griffin into Luke Skywalker, but what about Anakin Skywalker? Seth Green goes to the dark side in this clip from Talkin' Toons with Rob Paulsen!
Rob Paulsen, one of the most accomplished and well-known voice actors of our time (voicing Animaniacs, TMNT, Rick and Morty, and many more), sits down with fellow voice actors like Maurice LaMarche (Pinky and the Brain, Futurama), Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), and many others to discuss their experiences! And yes, of course, there'll be plenty of voice acting games from script-reading to re-enacting famous film scenes with cartoon character voices.

Search lights dim out inside my house I've played thsi inning for quite a while Guess what - they ran me out I've faced the ending One message sent It's over Hardly been here If this is all It's over And all this amounts to my wasted chance Friendship, food, rent and parents was all I meant So no more talking No more smiles It's over No more effort No more lies
