Song's main focus was on leisure traffic between the northeastern United States and Florida, a market where it competed with JetBlue Airways. It also operated flights between Florida and the West Coast, and from the Northeast to the west coast.
Song's aircraft were fitted with leather seats and free personal entertainment systems at every seat, with audio MP3 programmable selections, trivia games that could be played against other passengers, a flight tracker, and satellite television (provided by the DISH Network). Song offered free beverages, but charged for meals and liquor. Both brand-name snack boxes and healthy organic meals were offered. The flight safety instructions were sung or otherwise artistically interpreted, depending on the cabin crew. In addition to crew uniforms designed by Kate Spade, customized cocktails created by nightlife impresario Rande Gerber and an in-flight exercise program designed by New York City fitness guru David Barton, the airline created its own distinct mark in the industry. The Song brand was placed on more than 200 flights a day which carried over ten million passengers.
Rigid-body dynamics studies the movement of systems of interconnected bodies under the action of external forces. The assumption that the bodies are rigid, which means that they do not deform under the action of applied forces, simplifies the analysis by reducing the parameters that describe the configuration of the system to the translation and rotation of reference frames attached to each body. This excludes bodies that display fluid highly elastic, and plastic behavior.
The dynamics of a rigid body system is described by the laws of kinematics and by the application of Newton's second law (kinetics) or their derivative form Lagrangian mechanics. The solution of these equations of motion provides a description of the position, the motion and the acceleration of the individual components of the system and overall the system itself, as a function of time. The formulation and solution of rigid body dynamics is an important tool in the computer simulation of mechanical systems.
WWFS is best remembered for its previous incarnation, rock music-formatted WNEW-FM. The station shared the WNEW call letters between 1958 and 1986 with former sister AM station WNEW (1130kHz) and television station WNEW-TV (channel 5), with all being owned by Metromedia. After WNEW-TV was sold to the News Corporation in 1986 (and became WNYW), and the AM station was sold to Bloomberg L.P. in 1992 (and became WBBR), 102.7 FM retained the WNEW-FM callsign until it was changed in 2007. CBS Radio has since reused the WNEW call sign; the present-day WNEW-FM in the Washington, D.C., area is connected to this station only through their common ownership.
The 102.7 FM frequency was first assigned in the mid-1940s as WNJR-FM from Newark, New Jersey. Intended to be a simulcasting sister to WNJR (1430 AM, now WNSW), the FM station never made it to the air despite being granted several extensions of its construction permit. WNJR gave up and turned in the FM license to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 1953.

Why Did Deltas’ Low-Cost Carrier ‘Song’ Fail?
Delta Air Lines once operated a short-lived low-cost carrier. Called “Song,” the airline flew all-economy Boeing 757s on leisure destinations, primarily in Florida. However, the airline made its first flight on April 15th, 2003, and shut down in 2006 as Delta restructured through bankruptcy.

What is the richest airline in the world?
In this short video, we'll take a look at the richest airline in the world, based on total assets. We'll also discuss some of the factors that contribute to an airline's wealth, and how this can affect the customer experience.
The richest airline in the world is Qatar Airways.
Qatar Airways is a relatively young airline, founded in 1993. However, it has quickly become one of the most successful airlines in the world, and is now the richest airline in the world, with total assets of over $27 billion.
There are a few factors that contribute to Qatar Airways' wealth.
One factor is its young fleet of aircraft. Qatar Airways has a fleet of over 200 aircraft, which are all relatively new and fuel-efficient. This helps to keep costs down, and allows Qatar Airways to offer competitive fares.
Another factor is Qatar Airways' focus on luxury. The airline offers a high level of service and amenities, which appeals to high-end travelers. Qatar Airways also has a strong reputation for safety, which is important to many passengers.
How does an airline's wealth affect the customer experience?
An airline's wealth can have a significant impact on the customer experience. Wealthier airlines are often able to offer more amenities and services, such as lie-flat seats, in-flight entertainment, and premium food and drinks. They may also be able to offer more frequent flights and better connections.
Overall, the richest airline in the world is Qatar Airways. The airline's wealth is due to a number of factors, including its young fleet, focus on luxury, and strong safety record. This wealth allows Qatar Airways to offer a high level of service and amenities to its customers.
Here are some additional details about Qatar Airways:
• It is headquartered in Doha, Qatar.
• It operates a fleet of over 200 aircraft.
• It flies to over 150 destinations in over 70 countries.
• It has won numerous awards for its service and amenities, including the Skytrax World Airline Awards for Best Airline in the Middle East for the past 10 years.

There's a window in your room, and you look outside up to the sky- At all the people's lives. You wonder what it's like. There's a door stuck in your wall, and this house is getting way too small. But you have to say goodbye. Cause you've been here your whole life. Now you're on your own. You're all alone. You need someone that you can trust. And everyone around you is giving you bad ideas. But you've always had someone influence you. You're not a fool- why can't you learn? In a short time you'll just be burned. It takes some time and energy, but you'll get far. And all those friends you said you had. You only had one so just be glad.
