Bradford (Park Avenue) Association Football Club is an English football club based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Its name derived from the club's old stadium on Horton Park Avenue in Bradford (designed by Archibald Leitch), and was used to avoid confusion with Bradford City. However the club is traditionally known simply as Bradford, with the letters BFC adorning Leitch's grandstand.
The present club is a reincarnation of the club which graced the Football League from 1908 to 1970 before dropping to the Northern Premier League and going into liquidation in 1974. The new entity, established in 1987, is part of the National League North for the 2015–16 season and plays its home matches at the 3,500-capacity Horsfall Athletics Stadium. Bradford Park Avenue is one of 35 clubs to compete in all four top tiers of English football. Indeed, the new club started life at what was then the thirteenth tier: Division Three of the West Riding County Amateur League.
620 Park Avenue was designed by J.E.R. Carpenter and constructed by Starrett Brothers construction in 1924. It features a limestone facade on the two lowest floors and a brick exterior for the upper 13 floors. It is a 15 story building featuring just 15 units each composed of a full floor. In recent years it has become known for its conservative and often exclusionary co-op board and is known to avoid famous or notorious residents.
432 Park Avenue is a supertall residential building in midtown Manhattan, New York City, with 104 condominium apartments. It was developed by CIM Group. Originally proposed to be 1,300 feet (396 meters) in 2011, construction began in 2012, it was topped out on October 10, 2014 and completed on December 23, 2015. The building required the demolition of the 495-room Drake Hotel, which was built in 1926. In 2006, the hotel was sold for $440 million to developer Harry Macklowe, and the hotel was demolished the year afterward. The site became one of New York's most valuable development sites due to its location, between East 56th and 57th Streets on the west side of Park Avenue.
432 Park Avenue is the second-tallest building in New York City and is the tallest residential building in the western hemisphere. By mid-2018, 217 West 57th Street and 111 West 57th Street will be at a similar height. The tower has a footprint of approximately 33,000 square feet (3,100m2). The building was officially topped out on October 10, 2014, making it the highest rooftop in the city.
Completed in 1969 and having 44 floors, the building, which is the 64th tallest in New York, was designed by Emery Roth & Sons.
It is built on the site of the Hotel Ambassador. The famous hotel was built in 1921. It was sold to Sheraton Hotels in 1958 and renamed the Sheraton-East. It was demolished in 1966.
Exteriors of 345 Park Avenue were used as the headquarters of CSC and Continental Corp. in the Aaron Sorkin series Sports Night from 1998 to 2000.
The line-up was Ian H. (Ian Michael Hodgson, vocals), Ewan Butler (guitar), John Baulcombe (Keyboards),Jos Murphy (bass guitar), and Mark McVitie (drums). The band's debut single, "Skin Storm" was released in 1988, and had the distinction of being the first independently financed recording to be released on compact disc. They followed this with "Tattered, Tangled & Torn" before signing to Midnight Music, although their only release for the label, a self-titled mini-LP, was withdrawn. The band were then signed to Smiths producer Stephen Street's Foundation label. Street produced the major share of Bradford's material during their two-year association before the band signed with Sire Records/Warner Bros. Records. The band opened for Morrissey at his first post-Smiths concert at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. 1989 saw two further singles, both hits on the UK Indie Chart, and an album, Shouting Quietly, produced by Stephen Street and released on Sire Records label in the United States followed in 1990. Sales of the album were disappointing, and the band were dropped by Sire. An album collecting tracks from their early singles was also issued. In 1991, Morrissey recorded a cover version of "Skin Storm", released as a B-side on his "Pregnant for the Last Time" single and also featured on the "My Love Life" and "The CD Singles '88-91'" albums.
Barrie is one of the seven train lines of the GO Transit system in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. It extends from Union Station in Toronto in a generally northward direction to Barrie, and includes ten stations along its 63 miles (101.4km) route. From 1982 to 1990 and again from 1993 to 2007, it was known as the Bradford line, as that community constituted the line's terminus during those periods.
The Barrie Line is the oldest railway in Ontario, with passenger service beginning in 1853.

In 1852, construction began on the Ontario, Simcoe and Huron Railway, which would run from Toronto to Collingwood. The line opened on May 16, 1853, when passenger train service began operating between Toronto and Aurora (then Machell's Corners). On October 11, 1853, service was extended to Allandale, then opposite Barrie on the south shore of Kempenfeldt Bay.
The City of Bradford (i/ˈbrædfərd/) is a local government district of West Yorkshire, England, with the status of a city and metropolitan borough. It is named after its largest settlement, Bradford, but covers a far larger area which includes the towns of Keighley, Shipley, Bingley, Ilkley, Haworth, Silsden and Denholme. Bradford is the 4th largest metropolitan district in the country, and the contiguous urban area to the north which includes the towns of Shipley and Bingley is heavily populated. The spa town of Ilkley lies further north, whilst the town of Keighley lies to the west. Roughly two thirds of the district is rural, with an environment varying from moorlands in the north and west, to valleys and floodplains formed by the river systems that flow throughout the district. More than half of Bradford’s land is green open space, stretching over part of the Airedale and Wharfedale Valleys, across the hills and the Pennine moorland between. The Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District are both in close proximity.
