The following is a list of episodes of the 1980s animated television seriesM.A.S.K. The series ran for two seasons in 1985 and 1986. No origin episode ever aired. A mini-comic was released with the toys that told the origin of MASK and how Miles Mayhem had a falling out with Matt Trakker and his brother.
Blackout is the fourth studio album by Dropkick Murphys, released in 2003.
The album was released with a DVD, which contained live videos for "Rocky Road to Dublin" and "Boys on the Docks", a music video for "Gonna Be a Blackout Tonight", and a trailer for their then upcoming untitled full-length DVD, which became On the Road With the Dropkick Murphys and released the following year in March 2004. The album was also released in a condensed format on 10" vinyl. It had five songs from the album as well as a cover of AC/DC's "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)" which was later released on Singles Collection, Volume 2. A music video for "Walk Away", the album's first official single was also released. The song went on to become a minor radio hit and received some minor airplay on MTV.
History
"The Dirty Glass" was originally featured on the 2002 split Face to Face vs. Dropkick Murphys and re-recorded for the album with the band's then merchandise seller, Stephanie Dougherty, who shared vocals with Ken Casey and also appeared on the album's final track, "Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced". The track "Time to Go", a homage to the Boston Bruins, was featured Tony Hawk's Underground and "NHL 2005". The track "This Is Your Life" was featured in the 2003 video game Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This at Home.
Betty invites Hilda and Justin to stay for dinner after Justin's acting class audition, but they decline. Living alone, Betty realizes that she misses Matt and fears that if something happened to her, no one would know. Though Amanda and Marc live in the same building, they do not interact with her, increasing her loneliness. Meanwhile, Marc is feeling tension working for both Daniel and Wilhelmina, and sees an opportunity to advance his career when he hears that the vacant Senior Fashion Editor position will soon be filled.
Betty, attempting to befriend her neighbors, decides to throw a karaoke party. While hanging fliers announcing the event, she inadvertently lets burglars, posing as locked out residents, into the building. After they ransack the apartments, neighbors are justly chagrined by Betty's action. Betty convinces the landlord to install electronic locks on the doors, and uses this as another opportunity to get together with her neighbors. However, her plans to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the few tenants that bothered to come are foiled by a down beaten Marc.
Launched in 1984, Hasbro's Transformers toyline was promoted through both a comic book by Marvel Comics and an animated series produced by Sunbow Productions and Marvel Productions. Although the comic outlived the animated series by a number of years, it was the animated series that truly captured the hearts and minds of children worldwide. With the original show's conclusion in 1987, original series exclusive to Japan were created which ran until 1990, and the franchise was later re-imagined with the fully CGI Beast Wars in the late 1990s. The 21st Century saw a total reboot of the Transformers universe, as Hasbro collaborated with Japanese Transformers producers Takara to create a new storyline with Transformers: Armada and its sequels, produced in Japan and then dubbed for English-speaking audience. In 2008, Transformers Animated saw Hasbro take control of the franchise once more through collaboration with Cartoon Network, bringing writing duties back to America, with animation being handled by Japanese studios. Hasbro also reacquired the distribution rights to the original series from Sunbow finally giving them the complete rights to the series based on their Generation 1 toy-line.
Transformers is a race-style game for two to four players. Each player has three transforming robots as game counters. These robots transform from spaceships to robots. At the start of the game, all counters are placed in the start square, in spaceship mode. Each player is also dealt five cards, bearing numbers and pictures of various Transformers: 1 is Motormaster, 2 is Silverbolt, 3 is Cyclonus, 4 is Defensor and 5 is Galvatron.
On a player's turn, he/she throws the dice and moves one of his/her counters. When two counters of opposing players land on the same square, a fight ensues. The fight is carried out with cards. Both players place a card face up on the table. The player with the higher card wins. On a draw, the fight is repeated. The losing counter transforms into spaceship mode (if not already) and moves back to the start square, while the winning counter transforms into robot mode (if not already) and stays in place. The players then replenish their cards. The only exceptions are certain "safe" squares on the board, where fights do not happen.
