One Minute
"One Minute" is a song recorded by American recording artist Kelly Clarkson taken from her third studio album, My December (2007). The song served as the album's second single in Australia on September 18, 2007 through 19 Recordings and RCA Records. Clarkson originally wrote it for her second studio album, Breakaway (2004), with songwriters Kara DioGuardi, Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida; however, it did not make the final track listing. It was then reworked for My December, being produced by David Kahne, and co-produced by Jason Halbert and Jimmy Messer. "One Minute" is an alternative rock song with electropop influences, and consists of "rapid-fire give-and-take verses."
Upon its release, "One Minute" was met with positive reviews from music critics, with one considering it to be the musical highlight of My December, along with "Never Again" and "Don't Waste Your Time". Following strong radio airplay, the song debuted at number 41 in Australia, reaching its peak of number 36 a week later. No accompanying music video was recorded for the song; however, Clarkson promoted it through few live appearances, including at Daytona 500 on February 2007, and on Take 40's Live Lounge.

Failure
Failure is the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and may be viewed as the opposite of success. Product failure ranges from failure to sell the product to fracture of the product, in the worst cases leading to personal injury, the province of forensic engineering.
In science
Wired Magazine editor Kevin Kelly likewise explains that a great deal can be learned from things going unexpectedly, and that part of science's success comes from keeping blunders "small, manageable, constant, and trackable". He uses the example of engineers and programmers who push systems to their limits, breaking them to learn about them. Kelly also warns against creating a culture (e.g. school system) that punishes failure harshly, because this inhibits a creative process, and risks teaching people not to communicate important failures with others (e.g. Null results).
Criteria
The criteria for failure are heavily dependent on context of use, and may be relative to a particular observer or belief system. A situation considered to be a failure by one might be considered a success by another, particularly in cases of direct competition or a zero-sum game. Similarly, the degree of success or failure in a situation may be differently viewed by distinct observers or participants, such that a situation that one considers to be a failure, another might consider to be a success, a qualified success or a neutral situation.

Bank (card game)
Bank, also known also as "Polish Bank" or "Russian Bank," is the name of a comparing card game. The game requires a standard 52-card deck and five or six players.
Rules
At the start of the game, each player contributes an arranged stake to the pool. The dealer gives three cards to each player and turns up another; if this is not lower than an eight (ace is lowest), the dealer continues turning up cards until such a card is exposed. The player on the dealer's left, without touching or looking at the three cards received, can bet the amount of the pool, or any part of it, that among those cards is one that is higher (of the same suit) than the turn-up. If the player wins, the player takes the amount from the pool; if the player loses, the player pays that amount to the pool. Each player does the same in turn, the dealer last. Whenever the pool is exhausted, a fresh stake is put into the pool. After a round is over the deal passes. No player may touch any cards received until making a bet; the penalty is a fine to the pool of twice the stake, and the loss of the right to bet during that round.

Ocean bank
An ocean bank, sometimes referred to as a fishing bank or simply bank, is a part of the sea which is shallow compared to its surrounding area, such as a shoal or the top of an underwater hill. Somewhat like continental slopes, ocean banks slopes can upwell as tidal and other flows intercept them, resulting sometimes in nutrient rich currents. Because of this, some large banks, such as Dogger Bank and the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, are among the richest fishing grounds in the world.
There are some banks that were reported in the 19th century by navigators, such as Wachusett Reef, whose existence is doubtful.
Types
Ocean banks may be of volcanic nature. Banks may be carbonate or terrigenous. In tropical areas some banks are submerged atolls. As they are not associated with any landmass, banks have no outside source of sediments. Carbonate banks are typically platforms, rising from the ocean depths, whereas terrigenous banks are elevated sedimentary deposits.
Seamounts, by contrast, are mountains, of volcanic origin, rising from the deep sea, and are steeper, and higher in comparison to the surrounding seabed. Examples are Pioneer and Guide Seamounts, west of the Farallon Islands. The Pioneer Seamount has a depth of 1,000 meters, In other cases, parts of a bank may reach above the water surface, thereby forming islands.

Banks (singer)
Jillian Rose Banks (born June 16, 1988), known simply as Banks (often stylized as BANKS), is an American singer and songwriter from Orange County, California. She releases music under Harvest Records, Good Years Recordings and IAMSOUND Records imprints of the major label Universal Music Group.
She has toured internationally with The Weeknd and was also nominated for the Sound of 2014 award by the BBC and an MTV Brand New Nominee in 2014. On May 3, 2014, Banks was dubbed as an "Artist to Watch" by FoxWeekly.
Early life
Jillian Rose Banks was born in Orange County, California. Banks started writing songs at the age of fifteen. She taught herself piano when she received a keyboard from a friend to help her through her parents' divorce. She says she "felt very alone and helpless. I didn't know how to express what I was feeling or who to talk to."
Career
2013–present: Breakthrough and Goddess
Banks used the audio distribution website SoundCloud to put out her music before securing a record deal. Her friend Lily Collins used her contacts to pass along her music to people in the industry; specifically Katy Perry's DJ Yung Skeeter, and she began working with the label Good Years Recordings. Her first official single, called "Before I Ever Met You" was released in February 2013. The song which had been on a private SoundCloud page ended up being played by BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. Banks released her first EP Fall Over by IAMSOUND Records and Good Years Recordings.Billboard called her a "magnetic writer with songs to obsess over." Banks released her second EP called London by Harvest Records and Good Years Recordings in 2013 to positive reviews from music critics, receiving a 78 from Metacritic. Her song "Waiting Game" from the EP was featured in the 2013 Victoria's Secret holiday commercial.

William Banks (showman)
William Banks (fl. 1588–1637) was a showman, who lived in England. His performing horse "Marocco" was central to his reputation as a performer.
In literature
Banks is identified in Tarlton's Jests (1600) as a performer who served the Earl of Essex and exhibited his horse. His feats, which are briefly described in an epigram in Bastard's Chrestoleros (1598), included counting money, mentioned by William Shakespeare (Love's Labour's Lost, i. 2, 1. 53), by Bishop Hall (Toothless Satyrs, 1597) and by Sir Kenelm Digby (Nature of Bodies, 1644, p. 321); singling out persons named by his master (Tarlton's Jests; Brathwaite's Strappado for the Divell, 1615); and dancing, with very frequent allusions made by the Elizabethan dramatists in relation to Banks' dancing ability.
At the end of 1595 a pamphlet appeared, of which only two copies now exist. Entitled Maroccus Extaticus, or Bankes Bay Horse in a Trance, the pamphlet contains a discourse between Banks and his horse. A woodcut represents Banks in the act of opening his show, and the horse standing on his hind legs, with a stick in his mouth and dice on the ground. From the title-page it appears that Banks was at the time exhibiting his horse at the Belsavage Inn without Ludgate, where such entertainments were frequent and where Banks charged twopence for admission to his performance (Brathwaite's Strappado). The dialogue of the pamphlet deals with the hypocrisy of the puritans and other alleged abuses. It promises a second part, which never appeared.

"Correct me if I'm wrong. When you were starting Apple, or maybe beforehand, the rumor that I heard was that you went to talk to like Gordon Moore and Bob Noyce, and at Xerox PARC. And actually, these doors were open to you, which is unusual. I believe it's unusual compared to other places in the world where you can call the CEO of a company and say . . ."
Transcript:
"I've actually always found something to be very true, which is most people don't get those experiences because they never ask. I've never found anybody that didn't want to help me if I asked them for help. I always call them up. I called up, this will date me, but I called up Bill Hewlett when I was 12 years old, and he lived in Palo Alto. His number was in the phone book. And he answered the phone himself and said, "Yes?" And I said, "Hi, I'm Steve Jobs. I'm 12 years old. I'm a student in high school, and I want to build a frequency counter. And I was wondering if you had any spare parts I could have." And he laughed and he gave me the spare parts to build this frequency counter, and he gave me a job that summer in Hewlett-Packard working on the assembly line putting nuts and bolts together on frequency counters. He got me a job in the place that built them. And I was in heaven. And I've never found anyone who said no or hung up the phone when I called. I just asked. And when people ask me, I try to be as responsive. You know, to pay that debt of gratitude back. Most people never pick up the phone and call. Most people never ask. And that's what separates sometimes people who do things from people who just dream about them. You've got to act, and you've got to be willing to fail. You've got to be willing to crash and burn, you know, with people on the phone, with starting a company, with whatever. If you're afraid of failing, you won't get very far."

RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most money when the first player goes bankrupt. This is a fast version of the monopoly game, and some rules are very different! First big change are the houses. You do not have to wait to own a color set. Every property you buy gets a house immediately. Put the house on the number one square in the space's color band. This shows the rent level.
Every time someone lands on a space you own, not only do they pay you rent, but your rent then jumps one level. If you land on a space you own, your rent also jumps one. Move the house each time your rent jumps - or drops. There can only ever be one house per property.
The maximum rent level is 5, and rent cannot fall below level 1. Unless a property is being returned to the Bank to pay a debt, at which point it becomes an unowned property again and the rent level is reset. Every property has a Title Deed card that shows all five rent values.
If you lose track of your rent level (of where your house should be), you can check the rent level by tapping the Title Deed card to the unit. You must press the “X” button afterwards or the unit will think you want to buy it or pay rent. The unit will automatically revert back to the default screen after 10 seconds if you don’t press the “X” button.
There is no cash in the game. The Ultimate Banking unit does everything for you, quickly and easily. Bank cards let the unit keep track of your money & properties. Every card tapped plays a sound. If you haven't heard a sound, the tap hasn't registered.
Shuffle the Event cards then place them face down on the gameboard. Separate the Title Deed cards by color sets. Place the houses by the Title Deed cards. Give each player 1 token and its matching Bank card. Place all tokens on GO. Place the banking unit in the center of the game board. Turn it on by pressing any button. To start a new game press and hold the “X” button for about 5 seconds until the unit turns off, then press any button to start a new game. Each player taps their Bank card on the unit. When you are ready to play, press the “Check” button. $1500 will be automatically credited to your card.
To Tap cards, briefly lay the card flat, barcode-side down, onto the card reader. Ensure the card covers the card reader completely. You will hear a sound after each completed function. If you don't hear a sound, try placing the card flat over the card reader again.
The youngest player goes first then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn: Roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board that number of spaces. Then take an action based on where you land. If you roll doubles, then you get to take another turn. If you roll doubles 3 times in a row, then you go straight to jail and do not take a third turn.
When you land on a property that no one owns, you must buy it or auction it. To buy a property. Tap the Title Deed card then Tap your Bank card to buy it. The price for each property is listed on the board. The banking unit automatically deducts the cost from your balance and, ka-ching, it's yours! Put a house on the space's level 1 spot. Every time anyone lands on the space, rent will go up. Place the Title Deed card in front of you.
To auction a property, Tap the Title Deed card of the property you want to auction.
Tap the “M” button until the “auction” icon shows. Tap the “M” button and the auction starts. Any player may bid on the auction in multiples of 20 unless you are in jail, then you may not bid. To bid, press the “M” button. And say the amount out loud that you increase the bid to. The auction will end after a short period of time and the player who bid last wins and must tap their bank card to pay, then they collect the property and place 1 house on it on the board.
If no one wants the property then you press the “X” button to continue without anyone buying it. If the auction timer runs out before anyone bid then tab the title deed card and restart the auction...

RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most money when the last property is purchased. Layout the board then shuffle the chance deck and place it face down on the board. Place the title deed cards next to their corresponding property space around the board. Each player choses a token and takes its matching bank card and reference card. Your reference card will indicate the exclusive rewards you can receive throughout the game. Each player places their token on Go.
There is no paper money, all finances are handled by the banking unit. Press any button on the banking unit to turn it on. To reset the unit to start a new game, press and hold the X and M until the unit for 5 seconds until the unit turns off. Then press any button it turn it on, ready for a new game. Each player taps their bank card to the banking unit. Whenever you tap a card you will hear a sound. If you don’t hear a sound, then it didn’t work and you will need to tap that card again.
Once all the players have tapped their bank cards and are ready, press the check mark and the game will begin, giving each player $1500. The youngest player goes first, then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn, roll the die and move your piece that many spaces clockwise around the board then perform the actions indicated by the space you are on. If you land on an unowned property you may buy it. Tap the property card then your bank card. The cost of the property, which is listed on its space on the board, will be automatically deducted from your account.
If you don’t want to buy a property then you must auction it. Press the M button until the auction icon appears then tap the property and press the check. The bidding starts at 10 and increases in increments of 10. To bid, press the M button and read out the new total of the bid. When the time runs out, the winner of the auction taps their bank card to pay.
If you don’t have enough money to buy a property the banking unit will make this sound… and the transaction will be cancelled. In an auction, the other players will need to redo the auction. If no player wants to bid, then the property remains where it is.
When you land on a property that another player owns, you need to pay them rent if they ask for it. To pay them, tap the property then tap your bank card. The amount due will be automatically deducted.
If you land on or pass go, press the M button until the arrow icon then tap your bank card to receive $200. If you land on chance, draw the top card from the chance deck, read it aloud, do what it says, then tap it. Then tap your bank card to pay or collect money, if another player is needed to collect money with you, then they will tap their card after you. If you land on free parking or just visiting then nothing happens.
If you land on a flight space, you may choose to pay $100 to move to any PROPERTY space on the board. If you don’t want to pay and move, then do nothing. Otherwise, press the M button until the flight icon appears and then tap your bank card. If you pass Go, do not collet $200.
You are not allowed to trade in the game. Instead, the only way to trade If you land on the forced trade space. When you land here, you may choose any one of your properties and trade it for any opponent’s property that you choose. However, you may not trade for a property that is a part of a complete colored set. To trade, press the M button until the forced trade icon appears, then tap the title deed you want from another player followed by the property you are giving them. Then each player places their new property in front of themselves.

One Minute
"One Minute" is a song recorded by American recording artist Kelly Clarkson taken from her third studio album, My December (2007). The song served as the album's second single in Australia on September 18, 2007 through 19 Recordings and RCA Records. Clarkson originally wrote it for her second studio album, Breakaway (2004), with songwriters Kara DioGuardi, Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida; however, it did not make the final track listing. It was then reworked for My December, being produced by David Kahne, and co-produced by Jason Halbert and Jimmy Messer. "One Minute" is an alternative rock song with electropop influences, and consists of "rapid-fire give-and-take verses."
Upon its release, "One Minute" was met with positive reviews from music critics, with one considering it to be the musical highlight of My December, along with "Never Again" and "Don't Waste Your Time". Following strong radio airplay, the song debuted at number 41 in Australia, reaching its peak of number 36 a week later. No accompanying music video was recorded for the song; however, Clarkson promoted it through few live appearances, including at Daytona 500 on February 2007, and on Take 40's Live Lounge.

"Correct me if I'm wrong. When you were starting Apple, or maybe beforehand, the rumor that I heard was that you went to talk to like Gordon Moore and Bob Noyce, and at Xerox PARC. And actually, these doors were open to you, which is unusual. I believe it's unusual compared to other places in the world where you can call the CEO of a company and say . . ."

"I've actually always found something to be very true, which is most people don't get those experiences because they never ask. I've never found anybody that didn't want to help me if I asked them for help. I always call them up. I called up, this will date me, but I called up Bill Hewlett when I was 12 years old, and he lived in Palo Alto. His number was in the phone book. And he answered the phone himself and said, "Yes?" And I said, "Hi, I'm Steve Jobs. I'm 12 years old. I'm a student in high school, and I want to build a frequency counter. And I was wondering if you had any spare parts I could have." And he laughed and he gave me the spare parts to build this frequency counter, and he gave me a job that summer in Hewlett-Packard working on the assembly line putting nuts and bolts together on frequency counters. He got me a job in the place that built them. And I was in heaven. And I've never found anyone who said no or hung up the phone when I called. I just asked. And when people ask me, I try to be as responsive. You know, to pay that debt of gratitude back. Most people never pick up the phone and call. Most people never ask. And that's what separates sometimes people who do things from people who just dream about them. You've got to act, and you've got to be willing to fail. You've got to be willing to crash and burn, you know, with people on the phone, with starting a company, with whatever. If you're afraid of failing, you won't get very far."

RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most money when the first player goes bankrupt. This is a fast version of the monopoly game, and some rules are very different! First big change are the houses. You do not have to wait to own a color set. Every property you buy gets a house immediately. Put the house on the number one square in the space's color band. This shows the rent level.
Every time someone lands on a space you own, not only do they pay you rent, but your rent then jumps one level. If you land on a space you own, your rent also jumps one. Move the house each time your rent jumps - or drops. There can only ever be one house per property.
The maximum rent level is 5, and rent cannot fall below level 1. Unless a property is being returned to the Bank to pay a debt, at which point it becomes an unowned property again and the rent level is reset. Every property has a Title Deed card that shows all five rent values.
If you lose track of your rent level (of where your house should be), you can check the rent level by tapping the Title Deed card to the unit. You must press the “X” button afterwards or the unit will think you want to buy it or pay rent. The unit will automatically revert back to the default screen after 10 seconds if you don’t press the “X” button.
There is no cash in the game. The Ultimate Banking unit does everything for you, quickly and easily. Bank cards let the unit keep track of your money & properties. Every card tapped plays a sound. If you haven't heard a sound, the tap hasn't registered.
Shuffle the Event cards then place them face down on the gameboard. Separate the Title Deed cards by color sets. Place the houses by the Title Deed cards. Give each player 1 token and its matching Bank card. Place all tokens on GO. Place the banking unit in the center of the game board. Turn it on by pressing any button. To start a new game press and hold the “X” button for about 5 seconds until the unit turns off, then press any button to start a new game. Each player taps their Bank card on the unit. When you are ready to play, press the “Check” button. $1500 will be automatically credited to your card.
To Tap cards, briefly lay the card flat, barcode-side down, onto the card reader. Ensure the card covers the card reader completely. You will hear a sound after each completed function. If you don't hear a sound, try placing the card flat over the card reader again.
The youngest player goes first then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn: Roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board that number of spaces. Then take an action based on where you land. If you roll doubles, then you get to take another turn. If you roll doubles 3 times in a row, then you go straight to jail and do not take a third turn.
When you land on a property that no one owns, you must buy it or auction it. To buy a property. Tap the Title Deed card then Tap your Bank card to buy it. The price for each property is listed on the board. The banking unit automatically deducts the cost from your balance and, ka-ching, it's yours! Put a house on the space's level 1 spot. Every time anyone lands on the space, rent will go up. Place the Title Deed card in front of you.
To auction a property, Tap the Title Deed card of the property you want to auction.
Tap the “M” button until the “auction” icon shows. Tap the “M” button and the auction starts. Any player may bid on the auction in multiples of 20 unless you are in jail, then you may not bid. To bid, press the “M” button. And say the amount out loud that you increase the bid to. The auction will end after a short period of time and the player who bid last wins and must tap their bank card to pay, then they collect the property and place 1 house on it on the board.
If no one wants the property then you press the “X” button to continue without anyone buying it. If the auction timer runs out before anyone bid then tab the title deed card and restart the auction...

RULES:
The object of the game is to have the most money when the last property is purchased. Layout the board then shuffle the chance deck and place it face down on the board. Place the title deed cards next to their corresponding property space around the board. Each player choses a token and takes its matching bank card and reference card. Your reference card will indicate the exclusive rewards you can receive throughout the game. Each player places their token on Go.
There is no paper money, all finances are handled by the banking unit. Press any button on the banking unit to turn it on. To reset the unit to start a new game, press and hold the X and M until the unit for 5 seconds until the unit turns off. Then press any button it turn it on, ready for a new game. Each player taps their bank card to the banking unit. Whenever you tap a card you will hear a sound. If you don’t hear a sound, then it didn’t work and you will need to tap that card again.
Once all the players have tapped their bank cards and are ready, press the check mark and the game will begin, giving each player $1500. The youngest player goes first, then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn, roll the die and move your piece that many spaces clockwise around the board then perform the actions indicated by the space you are on. If you land on an unowned property you may buy it. Tap the property card then your bank card. The cost of the property, which is listed on its space on the board, will be automatically deducted from your account.
If you don’t want to buy a property then you must auction it. Press the M button until the auction icon appears then tap the property and press the check. The bidding starts at 10 and increases in increments of 10. To bid, press the M button and read out the new total of the bid. When the time runs out, the winner of the auction taps their bank card to pay.
If you don’t have enough money to buy a property the banking unit will make this sound… and the transaction will be cancelled. In an auction, the other players will need to redo the auction. If no player wants to bid, then the property remains where it is.
When you land on a property that another player owns, you need to pay them rent if they ask for it. To pay them, tap the property then tap your bank card. The amount due will be automatically deducted.
If you land on or pass go, press the M button until the arrow icon then tap your bank card to receive $200. If you land on chance, draw the top card from the chance deck, read it aloud, do what it says, then tap it. Then tap your bank card to pay or collect money, if another player is needed to collect money with you, then they will tap their card after you. If you land on free parking or just visiting then nothing happens.
If you land on a flight space, you may choose to pay $100 to move to any PROPERTY space on the board. If you don’t want to pay and move, then do nothing. Otherwise, press the M button until the flight icon appears and then tap your bank card. If you pass Go, do not collet $200.
You are not allowed to trade in the game. Instead, the only way to trade If you land on the forced trade space. When you land here, you may choose any one of your properties and trade it for any opponent’s property that you choose. However, you may not trade for a property that is a part of a complete colored set. To trade, press the M button until the forced trade icon appears, then tap the title deed you want from another player followed by the property you are giving them. Then each player places their new property in front of themselves.
