"Heaven" is a song recorded by American rapper Jay-Z from his twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail (2013) featuring American recording artist Justin Timberlake. The song was written by Jay-Z, The-Dream, members of R.E.M., Adrian Younge, Timbaland, and Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon while the production was handled by the latter two. During the song, Jay-Z touches on subjects of religious allegory and an interrogation of organized religion. The song has since peaked at number 10 on the BillboardBubbling Under Hot 100 Singles.
Background
On "Heaven", Jay-Z questions the meaning of religion and once again shoots down rumors that he is part of the secret organization Illuminati. He explained the song in a promotional video for Samsung saying,
The song indulges in religious allegory, and is one of the few songs on Magna Carta Holy Grail that touch upon existential and spiritual themes. Throughout the song he ponders faith, superstition and free thinking.
The songs features Jay-Z rapping a lyric of rock band, R.E.M.'s 1991 single "Losing My Religion". Following the album's release, former frontman of R.E.M. Michael Stipe told NME that he's "thrilled" and it was a "great honor", that Jay-Z included the lyrics in one of his songs.
"Heaven" is the title of a popular song from 2004 by the AmericanTejano/Chicano rock band Los Lonely Boys. The song was written by brothers Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza, who comprise the foundation of the band, and it appears on their multi-platinum self-titled album.
Reception
Released as a single in mid-2004, "Heaven" reached the Top 40 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at 16 in August. Later that year, the song began a sixteen week run at number 1 on the BillboardAdult Contemporary chart in October. It was also a minor hit at country radio, where it peaked at number 46.
AllMusic reviewer Thom Jurek describes the song as "infectious" and draws comparisons to the music of Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Los Lobos. He states that "Heaven" is "a single in the old sense of the word: killer hook, easy groove, a slippery but unmistakable bridge with a beautiful vocal to boot -- all coming in under four minutes."
"Heaven (Must Be There)" (sometimes shortened to just "Heaven") is a song by Eurogliders from their album This Island. The song was released as a 7" vinyl and a 12" in May 1984.
The single brought the band to fame, especially in Australia, where the single peaked at No.2 on Kent Music Report Singles Chart in 1984. It was also a major hit in New Zealand, peaking at No.6, and a more modest hit in North America, hitting No.47 in Canada, and No.65 in the US.
"Angels" is a song by Dutch band Within Temptation from their third studio album, The Silent Force. It was released as the third single from the album on 13 June 2005, also accompanying a music video. The video earned the band a Golden God Award on the following year.

Music video
The video is shot in a desert in Spain.
It tells the story of a group of vigilanteangels who make it their mission to wipe out evil. Sharon den Adel is a woman who has been seemingly abandoned on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. She accepts a lift from a priest, who takes her back to his home. The priest is in fact a demonicserial killer, who adopts different disguises to get to his victims. All of these disguises are trustworthy people, like a doctor, a police officer, a clown, judge, or a priest. As Sharon stumbles upon a board full of newspaper clippings in the killers home, which are about his previous victims, he seemingly overpowers her with chloroform. He takes a tied up Sharon to the middle of the desert to bury her alive. However, Sharon immediately awakens as the other angels approach (the other band members) and is revealed to also be one of the angels, who was left at the side of the road as bait for the serial killer, during which time the rest of the vigilantes appear and the killer is confronted with the spirits of his victims, who destroy him. The vigilantes then move onto their next target.
Angels was a nightclub and music venue in Burnley, England. It became most famous during the early 1990s with the rise of the house music scene, drawing visitors from across the United Kingdom. It occupied part of a multi-storey car park on Curzon St, currently the site of another car park and Wilko store.
DJ Paul Taylor also held a residency at the club, throughout the 1990s, and originated his "Retro" club night there.
History
June 1974 saw the official opening of Angels by TV's Pan's People and the Mayor of Burnley. In 1992 the first episode of the long-running late-night dance music show BPM featured footage from Angels with Dave SeamanDJing. Footage of the event can be found on YouTube. When Pete Waterman visited Angels in 1994, to scout for his TV show The Hit Man and Her, he received so much hassle from the clubgoers that he changed his mind.

An old new testament of faith, ripped from the hands of the dead and placed on the cross. Just as the light from above is captured below, the christened king of their church is a stolen concept of the sun. I won't wait for tomorrow, I won't wait for a sun that won't rise a god that is dead, buried in lies, I won't speak of forgiveness, to those who have no true will of their own, their fate has been sealed, their blood has run cold. I am the sword of hell and in the words of god "he who cannot be torn from heaven".
