As the name suggests, the Hebrew Bible is written, mostly, in Hebrew. But what is the earliest history of this language? What language did the ancient Israelites speak? This episode examines the origins of Hebrew and its relationship with Canaanite dialects in the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age. The episode will explore archaeological artifacts such as an inscription from Izbet Sarteh in Israel, which may be one of the earliest inscriptions of the Hebrew language.

THE MYSTERY OF ANCIENT ISRAELITE DNA
Although many are familiar with the Israelites, their culture, language and faith, few truly understand their genetic origins. In this video, we will take a deep dive into the origins of the contemporary Israelite population to determine which of them most resemble the ancient Israelites. Studies on Jewish ancestry on Wikipedia address the origin of the DNA of Palestinians and Samaritans, as well as the Canaanite and Semitic ancestry of the Levant. The Ancestry Brew channel offers additional references, while Jewish genetic studies on Wikipedia and the Ancestry Brew channel explore genetic research conducted by geneticist Ali. These studies investigate the ancient DNA of the Middle East, including Neolithic Canaanite and Semitic populations such as the Natufians and the Anatolian Neolithic...

MODERN HEBREW- is the standard form of the Hebrew language spoken today. Spoken in ancient times, Ancient Hebrew, a member of the Canaanite branch of the Semitic language family, was supplanted as the Jewish vernacular by the western dialect of Aramaic beginning in the third century BCE, though it continued to be used as a liturgical and literary language. It was revived as a spoken language in the 19th and 20th centuries and is the official language of Israel. Of ...

Yonnie Dror, who plays the wind instruments in Yamma found this magical chant in an old book of Jewish chants. The Jerusalem Babylonian version, in which frequent changes occur in rhythm, caught his ear, intrigued him to explore and learn deeply this unique ancient psalm which originated in the Jewish community of Iraq. (Yonnie's father immigrated to Jerusalem from Iraq during the 50s).
Yonnie wrote a full arrangement for the five-member ensemble. The group has recorded the psalm and set it free from the old book to the global online net. The hymn became a YouTube hit, just before falling into oblivion.
The beautiful performance received high attention and a warm embrace. millions of views and thousands of exciting comments from countless listeners and numerous music lovers from all religions and cultures.
𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 104
The melody of this song is traditional by the community of Babylonian Jews.
it was passed down from generation to generation through the history of prayers in the synagogues. The frequent changes in rhythm and other signs proves the composition is based on the oral praying text of prayers in synagogues. The core of this music was the text, reading the Psalm.
In this link a Jewish Iraqi cantor who sings this prayer in the original way without music - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr5IDbj9Rj8
The arrangement of the ensemble tries to give the same historical and ancient feeling
(using ancient instruments) and at the same time bring a touch of our contemporary times

These studies investigate the ancient DNA of the Middle East, including Neolithic Canaanite and Semitic populations such as the Natufians and the Anatolian Neolithic farmers. Specific Jewish groups are also covered, such as Ashkenazis, Sephardim and Mizrahim, as well as Samaritans, Beta Israel and Palestinians.

Hebraist Steve Boyd takes us through the key events and timeline represented in the first eleven chapters of Genesis. He also explains the content of these passages in light of the original Hebrew text.
𝘐𝘴 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺? is a documentary that features over a dozen scientists and scholars explaining how the world intersects with the history recorded in Genesis. From rock layers to fossils, from lions to stars, from the Bible to artifacts, this fascinating film will change the way you see the world. The film’s goal is to provide a reasonable case for Creation in six normal days, a real Adam and Eve, an actual fall, a global flood, and a tower of Babel. Dr. Del Tackett, creator of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵, serves as your guide—hiking through canyons, climbing up mountains, and diving below the sea—in an exploration of two competing views…one compelling truth.

These fascinating segments are approximately 20 minutes each and include an incredible depth of material not included in the film. Of the Canaanite languages, Modern Hebrew is the only language spoken today.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_Hebrew
TIBERIAN HEBREW- is the canonical pronunciation of the Hebrew Bible or Tanakh committed to writing by Masoretic scholars living in the Jewish community of Tiberias in ancient Galilee c. 750–950 CE under the Abbasid Caliphate. They wrote in the form of Tiberian vocalization, which employed diacritics added to the Hebrew letters: vowel signs and consonant diacritics (nequdot) and the so-called accents (two related systems of cantillation signs or te'amim). These together with the marginal notes masora magna and masora parva make up the Tiberian apparatus.
