Rabbit R1 review: somehow worse?
The adorable, whimsical and a very orange Rabbit R1 is here and it left us wondering if these AI-powered gadgets are even a good idea. The most intriguing tech in the R1 is what Rabbit calls the “Large Action Model”. Where a large language model, or LAM, is all about analyzing and creating text, the LAM is supposed to be about doing stuff. But in our week-long testing, the R1 has consistently proven to be underwhelming, unpredictable and often wrong and entirely pointless.

Battle of the point and shoot: Fujifilm x100VI vs. Ricoh GR IIIx
The $1,599.00 Fujifilm X100VI and the $1,046.95 Ricoh GR IIIx are two of the most popular digital point-and-shoot cameras for folks who aren’t looking to break the bank. They both come in a small package and have an APS-C sensor and a fixed focal length lens that can produce crisp images. In fact, these systems are so similar that, as a viewer, it can be hard to tell images from them apart (check out 1:29 in the video). But as a photographer, the experience they provide could not be more different.

Humane AI Pin review: a $700 gamble
Humane’s AI Pin has been a highly anticipated, too-good-to-be-true device that promises to replace your smartphone, and now we’ve finally gotten to test it out. The Verge’s Editor-at-Large and Vergecast host, David Pierce, reviews AI Pin’s recognition and Q&A features, laser ink projector, but most of all, gets his patience tested. While the device lacked some fundamental software needs, the AI Pin is working towards something very, very cool. Just unsure how soon it'll come, if ever.
