Great Britain is written by English playwright Richard Bean. In May 2013, it was revealed Bean was working on a new play based on the phone hacking scandal, having been commissioned by National Theatre artistic director Sir Nicholas Hytner, whilst still working on his hit play One Man, Two Guvnors. Speaking about the play he revealed that it would be set in a tabloidnewsroom and is a play about the state-of-the-nation, press, politics and police in bed with each other. In March 2014, it was revealed that an undisclosed Bean play would premiere as part of the National Theatre 2014-15 season. The season would mark Hytner's last as artistic director of the National Theatre. In May 2014, it was revealed that Billie Piper and Oliver Chris were taking part in workshops for the play and that the cast and crew had signed non-disclosure agreements for the as yet untitled production.

Joe Shimamura(島村ジョー,Shimamura Jō) - Cyborg 009, and the main character/leader
Joe is originally from Japan, although he is actually half-Japanese who's unknown father was presumably a soldier in the US Army stationed in Japan after World War II. A delinquent youth who was shunned by his peers because he was a Half Breed, he escaped from a juvenile detention facility before being captured by Black Ghost. In the 2001 anime, after his father disappeared and his mother died on the steps at his childbirth, he was an orphan taken in by a Catholic priest from Kanazawa along with their street friends Mary Onodera (perhaps a tribute to Shotaro Ishinomori, his birth name being Shotaro Onodera), Shin'ichi Ibaraki and Masaru Oyamada, then when he turned 18 his mentor was killed by Black Ghost members after they used a group of children that he raised in the church as guinea pigs for the Cyborg project; Joe was wrongfully blamed, then captured by the priest's killers and made into a cyborg. In the 1960 and 1980 film versions, Joe was a famous racer, nicknamed "Hurricane Joe", who gets into a crash and is recovered by Black Ghost (similar to 004's origin). Joe received several body enhancements during the process of being turned into a cyborg. He is super-humanly strong, resistant to damage, can leap large distances, and can breathe underwater. His most prominent ability is the power to move at a speed so fast that everything else looks like a statue to him, this is triggered by a switch embedded in his teeth. However, he cannot touch any normal creatures such as humans in this state; the high speeds would kill or otherwise cause serious injury to the creature through air friction. During each of the series, he acts as the field leader and first line attack of the 00 Cyborgs.
The road is a dual carriageway, most with two lanes each way, but there are two dual three-lane sections: on the Newmarket bypass (between Junctions 36 and 38) where it runs concurrent with the A11, and a short stretch between the Girton Interchange and Bar Hill. The road is heavily used by trucks carrying freight from the Port of Felixstowe (Britain's busiest container port) and the Midlands, North West and Ireland.

Bus Transport
There are around 25,000 matatus (minibuses), which constitute the bulk of the country's public transport system.
Once the largest bus company in Kenya, Kenya Bus Services, ran into financial difficulties, forcing them to reduce the number of buses operated. They are currently operating minibuses within Nairobi city, although new, smaller, city buses offering passengers higher standards of comfort and safety have been introduced on some inner-city routes.
Coast Bus, the oldest bus operator in Kenya, runs a high class day and night service between Nairobi and the coastal city of Mombasa. Ascott operates minivans offering shuttle service between Nairobi and Kisii; they offer snacks on board. Transline Classic Limited, a private owned company conquers in western region delivering services like PSV, parcel services and tours to the customers. The Guardian bus co. Ltd, a private company which runs the Guardian Bus service, operates day and night passenger bus and courier services to a number of destinations in Western Kenya, Rift Valley, Mombasa and East African towns of Kampala and Mwanza. A new service has been started from Kisumu to Kigali in Rwanda.

A14 UK Road and Railway Intersection Surveying and Processing - Reconstruction Project by Skanska
As part of the UK’s A14 improvement scheme which is one of the UK’s largest road projects, it was required to map a busy A14 highway junction including a highway intersection and a railway line. The complex mapping included multiple infrastructure layers (bridge, road and railway line) as well as an accurate snapshot of the surrounding buildings and map existing cracks to avoid future damage claims during road reconstruction work.
Traditional Total Station usage poses harsh accessibility issues and safety hazards due to the busy highway and the passing trains. Traditional measurements also cause huge traffic blocks during the measurements process.

Highways England announced on Thursday that Britain’s biggest road project is set to open to motorists over six months ahead of schedule. Work on the £1.5billion scheme to improve a 21-mile section of the A14 north of Cambridge began in November 2016, and was originally planned to open to traffic at the end of this year. However, that opening has now been moved forward to spring 2020, so we spoke to Highways England about the announcement and what this will mean for local drivers.

The A14 is one of the UK's busiest non-motorway roads. It runs from the M1 & M6 junction at Catthorpe to the Port of Felixstowe, the UK's busiest container port. Linking several major roads along the way and carrying port traffic, the A14 has a very high percentage of HGVs.
The A14 between the M1 and A1 was built between 1989 and 1991. As part of that scheme, Huntingdon was bypassed to the North, upgrading a section of A604 and A141 to meet the new link road, joining to the existing dual carriageway between Cambridge, Huntingdon & Alconbury.
The route number A14 was chosen for the new route. What was previously numbered as the A14 was downgraded to the A1198 (running between Royston and Huntingdon).
