Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are two hobos roaming the Arizona countryside. After being arrested for loitering, they spend a night in jail in town. When they are released the day after they are ordered to leave town immediately. Since the men lack every kind of transportation, they come up with the desperate idea of traveling as escort to a coffin and an undertaker’s railroad transport of a corpse out of town to Dayton, Ohio. The corpse will still be in the coffin, of course, but they at least get the transport for free.
Stan and Oliver are happily unaware that the men who has hired them, Frank Lucas and Joe Morgan, are gangsters, working as henchmen for their boss Darby Mason, who is wanted by the law. Mason’s real name is Norton, but this name is known to the police. Mason has seen in the newspapers that a search for an heir to a very large fortune has started in Dayton. The heir’s name is Egbert Norton, and Mason plans to sneak unseen into Dayton and pretend to be the heir once he is inside the city limits. Mason has planned to hide at a sanatorium, run by the dubious doctor Lake, until he can re-surface and collect the inheritance from the attorney, Malcolm Kilgore.
This is the last Looney Tunes cartoon featuring Witch Hazel, as well as the last Looney Tunes cartoon with June Foray's voice acting in the Golden Age. However, she would reprise her role as Witch Hazel once again in an episode of the 2003 Duck Dodgers series.
Plot
It's Halloween and Daffy Duck's nephew (essentially a child-sized version of Daffy) goes Trick-or-treating as a witch, in the same outfit that Bugs Bunny wore in Broom-Stick Bunny. He soon visits Witch Hazel's house. He runs home screaming like a girl after being scared by Witch Hazel's hideous face (however Witch Hazel's skin is more yellow instead of green). At home, Daffy's nephew tries to explain to his uncle that he saw a witch. Daffy gets angry at his nephew and explains him that "there is no such thing as a witch, and that she's just a poor old lady trying to get along". He tells him that he will prove it by meeting Witch Hazel.
A-Haunting We Will Go is an stageplay written by prolific playwright Tim Kelly and published in 1981. Billed as a "full-length mystery-comedy," it has a cast of 20, and contains two acts. It is set in the Southwestern United States, in an abandoned, supposedly haunted hotel called "The Inn of the Three Sisters."
The protagonist is Norma Corwin, a successful television producer. She comes to the hotel, intent on staying the night there alone, thereby fulfilling a childhood vow. As the night progresses, a variety of mysterious characters come onto the scene, some seemingly harmless, and others markedly malicious. The mystery surmounts with spirit manifestations and murder.
An old cartoon featuring Casper The Friendly Ghost.

They are regarded as THE KING OF COMEDY!!!
First came Great comedian Charlie Chaplin then feeling his success all over the world the two comedians Laurel and Hardy came and following them there came three comedians named Three Stoogies.
although there were many comedians in that era but this is the reality that L&H were the best of them all they made many many good humorous videos that if you watch them you can not stop laughing ..!!!
they were so successful that they got popularity in almost every country and no one can forget them ever.
the proof of their popularity is that right after the death of final character Stan Laurel in 1965 there came cartoons of them in 1966.
there were also many other adoptions of there act including many English Hindi French and Urdu Dramas. Now a days still they are remembered and cartoons with the name MOTU PATLU are very popular these days.
Laurel and Hardy were a comedy double act during the early Classical Hollywood era of American cinema. The team was composed of thin Englishman Stan Laurel (1890–1965) and heavyset American Oliver Hardy (1892–1957). They became well known during the late 1920s through the mid-1940s for their slapstick comedy, with Laurel playing the clumsy and childlike friend of the pompous Hardy.[1][2] The duo's signature tune is known variously as "The Cuckoo Song", "Ku-Ku", or "The Dance of the Cuckoos". It was played over the opening credits of their films and has become as emblematic of the duo as their bowler hats.
Prior to emerging as a team, both actors had well-established film careers. Laurel had appeared in over 50 films while Hardy had been in more than 250 productions. The two comedians had previously worked together as cast members on the film The Lucky Dog in 1921. However, they were not a comedy team at that time and it was not until 1926 that they appeared in a movie short together, when both separately signed contracts with the Hal Roach film studio.[3] Laurel and Hardy officially became a team in 1927 when they appeared together in the silent short film Putting Pants on Philip. They remained with the Roach studio until 1940 and then appeared in eight "B" movie comedies for 20th Century Fox and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from 1941 to 1945.[4] After finishing their movie commitments at the end of 1944, they concentrated on performing in stage shows and embarked on a music hall tour of England, Ireland, and Scotland.[4] In 1950, before retiring from the screen, they made their last film, a French/Italian co-production called Atoll K.
They appeared as a team in 107 films, starring in 32 short silent films, 40 short sound films, and 23 full-length feature films. They also made 12 guest or cameo appearances that included the Galaxy of Stars promotional film of 1936.[5] On December 1, 1954, the pair made one American television appearance when they were surprised and interviewed by Ralph Edwards on his live NBC-TV program This Is Your Life. Since the 1930s, the works of Laurel and Hardy have been released in numerous theatrical reissues, television revivals, 8-mm and 16-mm home movies, feature-film compilations, and home videos. In 2005, they were voted the seventh-greatest comedy act of all time by a UK poll of fellow comedians.[6] The official Laurel and Hardy appreciation society is known as The Sons of the Desert which was named after a fictitious fraternal society featured in the Laurel and Hardy film of the same name.
