Federal-style architecture is the name for the classicizing architecture built in North America between c. 1780 and 1830, and particularly from 1785 to 1815, mostly from the two brothers, Robert Adam and James Adam. This style shares its name with its era, the Federal Period. The name Federal style is also used in association with furniture design in the United States of the same time period. The style broadly corresponds to the classicism of Biedermeier style in the German-speaking lands, Regency style in Britain and to the French Empire style.
Characteristics
In the early American republic, the founding generation consciously chose to associate the nation with the ancient democracies of Greece and the republican values of Rome. Grecian aspirations informed the Greek Revival, lasting into the 1850s. Using Roman architectural vocabulary, the Federal style applied to the balanced and symmetrical version of Georgian architecture that had been practiced in the American colonies' new motifs of neoclassical architecture as it was epitomized in Britain by Robert Adam, who published his designs in 1792.
Dogū(土偶)(meaning "clay figures") are small humanoid and animal figurines made during the late Jōmon period (14,000–400 BC) of prehistoric Japan. Dogū come exclusively from the Jōmon period. By the Yayoi period, which followed the Jōmon period, Dogū were no longer made. There are various styles of Dogū, depending on exhumation area and time period. According to the National Museum of Japanese History, the total number found throughout Japan is approximately 15,000. Dogū were made across all of Japan, except Okinawa. Most of the Dogū have been found in eastern Japan and it is rare to find one in western Japan. The purpose of the Dogū remains unknown and should not be confused with the clay haniwa funerary objects of the Kofun period (250 – 538).
Origins
Some scholars theorize the Dogū acted as effigies of people, that manifested some kind of sympathetic magic. For example, it may have been believed that illnesses could be transferred into the Dogū, then destroyed, clearing the illness, or any other misfortune.
Dog meat refers to the flesh and other edible parts derived from dogs. Historically, human consumption of dog meat has been recorded in many parts of the world, including East and Southeast Asia, West Africa, Europe, Oceania and the Americas.
In the 21st century, dog meat is consumed in many parts of China,Korea and Vietnam, parts of Switzerland, as well as parts of Europe, Americas, the African continent, such as Cameroon, Ghana and Liberia.
Today, a number of cultures view the consumption of dog meat to be a part of their traditional and day-to-day cuisine, while others - such as Western culture - consider consumption of dog to be a taboo, although they have been consumed in times of war and/or other hardships. It was estimated in 2014 that worldwide, 25 million dogs are eaten each year by humans.
Dog breeds used for meat
Nureongi
The Nureongi (Korean:누렁이) is a yellowish landrace from Korea. Similar to other native Korean dog breeds, such as the Jindo, nureongi are medium-sized spitz-type dogs, but are larger with greater musculature and a distinctive coat pattern. They are quite uniform in appearance, yellow hair and melanistic masks. Nureongi are most often used as a livestock dog, raised for its meat, and not commonly kept as pets.
Shvan, a Sanskrit word meaning a dog, finds repeated references in Vedic and later Hindu mythologies, and such references include the following:
The Apsara of Indra, a Vedic god, is named Sarama, and it is mentioned in the Rig Veda. Its offspring became the watch dog of Yama.
Yudhishthira, one of the Pandavas, insisted that he be allowed to enter Svarga (Heaven) with the Shvan which had followed him from their advent to Swarga where in Yudhishthira lost his brother and wife, only Shavana followed him when the devadhootha came in front of Yudishtara to take him to Svarga the dog transformed itself into Yama.
Internal ballistics, the study of the processes originally accelerating the projectile, for example the passage of a bullet through the barrel of a rifle
Transition ballistics, the study of the projectile's behavior when it leaves the barrel and the pressure behind the projectile is equalized
External ballistics, the study of the passage of the projectile through space or the air
Terminal ballistics, the study of the interaction of a projectile with its target, whether that be flesh (for a hunting bullet), steel (for an anti-tank round), or even furnace slag (for an industrial slag disruptor)
Internal ballistics, the study of the processes originally accelerating the projectile, for example the passage of a bullet through the barrel of a rifle
The original Puzz Loop was followed by a sequel, Puzz Loop 2, in 2001.
Gameplay
In the game, marbles of different colors roll down a spiral path towards a central goal, which the player must stop by shooting new marbles using a cannon into the oncoming ones. The marbles disappear if player matches three or more marbles of the same color. In addition, collecting bonus items attached to marbles can, for example, temporarily slow down the rate the marbles advance or cause all marbles of the same color to disappear.
The game is over once the marbles are pushed over the goal threshold.

On top of that, it’s estimated that “Shelter, which has about a one-third weighting in the CPI calculation, accounted for about 40% of the total increase in November" and, in this case ”the shelter index rose 4.7% on a 12-month basis.”
STOCK MARKET:
If we go all the way back to the 1920s, there have only been 9 times where we’ve seen more than a 30% return in a year - and, with the exception of the Great Depression - there usually follows more positive returns in the years that follow.
However, Warren Buffet is taking a more cautious approach while he sells massive positions and sits on his largest cash-pile of all time, at $325 billion dollars. On top of that, one economist was quoted as saying that “The stock market is in a 'mania' that will push it higher before a potential 26% drop in 2025.”
HOUSING MARKET:
Despite mortgage rates being their highest in 20 years - home prices have continue to grow, with the average home rising 5.9% since December of last year. In terms of which markets are seeing the biggest increase, Detroit Michigan saw a 15% gain year-over-year - followed by Chicago at 13.5%, Newark at 11%, and Cleveland at 10% - with the hardest hit being Austin and San Antonio, Texas - having fallen 3-4.5% over the last 12 months.
MY THOUGHTS:
In terms of the stock market, I think it’s important to keep in mind that - even though stocks are expensive - relatively speaking, based on history - honestly, no one has any clue what’s going to happen in the future. I’m still just dollar cost averaging, and I’m not deterred whatsoever by all time highs.

Federal Period: Understand this Architectural Style and How it Differs from Georgian
The Federal-style is one of Brent’s favorites. In this video, he shows how it was invented in the late 18th century because of new discoveries from Pompeii. This newly discovered ancient city showed the true Roman interiors and homes. Robert Adam, the famous British architect, was influenced by what he saw in Pompeii and began creating lavish new rooms with fresh design motifs. This style is also called neo-classical. Brent shows how the Georgian and Federal moldings differ in the 3 ways; size, shape, and decoration. To learn more about Federal architectural interiors watch this video.

Four Exciting Features of Federal Style Homes
If you’re interested in purchasing a Federal-style home, here are a few things to get excited about.
Steeped in History
Although heavily influenced by Georgian architecture brought over by the British, it evolved to become the first architectural movement in this country.
Understated Exteriors
Ornamentation was typically limited to Palladian windows and an elliptical fanlight window above the main entrance.
Classical Details
These homes incorporate scaled-down characteristics of classical Roman and Greek architecture, like columns, arches, and cornices, as well as hand-carved moldings.
Sense of Scale
Federal-style homes are more intimately sized than previous architectural movements and embody the rare combination of simplicity and sophistication.

Make America Classical Again: Executive Order to Mandate Federal Architecture Style
After this video, visit our friends at The Patriot Post: America's News Digest http://bit.ly/2GwzbiB

A draft executive order, influenced by a small traditionalist group, would mandate a classical architectural style for major federal buildings in Washington D.C. and across the nation, emulating the ancient Greeks and Romans. It's a reaction against what they see as the utter failure of brutalism and deconstructivism to conjure our national ideals in public edifices. Does conservatism mean preserving the styles that were popular among the Founders and Framers? Should an executive order determine the appearance of these temples that pay tribute to democracy and republican ideals?

The Federal Reserve conducts the nation’s monetary policy to promote maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates in the U.S. economy; promotes the stability of the financial system and seeks to minimize and contain systemic risks through active monitoring and engagement in the U.S. and abroad; promotes the safety and soundness of individual financial institutions and monitors their impact on the financial system as a whole; fosters payment and settlement system safety and efficiency through services to the banking industry and the U.S. government that facilitate U.S.-dollar transactions and payments; and promotes consumer protection and community development through consumer-focused supervision and examination, research and analysis of emerging consumer issues and trends, community economic development activities, and the administration of consumer laws and regulations.

INFLATION:
On December 11th, overall inflation across all items rose by 2.7%, year over year. In terms of where inflation is most persistent, Food at home increased by 1.6%, food away from home (like restaurants), is up 3.6%, Motor Vehicle insurance is up 13%, Health Insurance is up 6%, and Energy is Down by 3.2%.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell delivers remarks following the Federal Reserve's two-day policy meeting on Wednesday.
The Federal Reserve on Wednesday lowered its key interest rate by a quarter percentage point, the third consecutive reduction and one that came with a cautionary tone about additional reductions in coming years.
In a move widely anticipated by markets, the Federal Open Market Committee cut its overnight borrowing rate to a target range of 4.25%-4.5%, back to the level where it was in December 2022 when rates were on the move higher.

US President Donald Trump wants to make federal buildings beautiful again. It might sound like his 2016 campaign slogan, but this time it is the name of a draft executive order.
