The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory (commonly shortened to The 7 Day Theory or Don Killuminati and sometimes called Makaveli) is the fifth studio album by Tupac Shakur. Released under his new stage name Makaveli, it was his first studio album to be posthumously released. The album was completely finished in a total of seven days during the first week of August 1996. The lyrics were written and recorded in only three days and mixing took an additional four days. These are the last songs Shakur recorded before his fatal shooting on September 7, 1996. The album was originally due for release in March 1997, but due to his death, Suge Knight released it four months earlier.
George "Papa G" Pryce, Former Head of Publicity for Death Row, claimed that "Makaveli which we did was a sort of tongue-in-cheek, and it was not ready to come out, [but] after Tupac was murdered, it did come out... Before that, it was going to be a sort of an underground."
Concept
Though Shakur had been using the new name Makaveli or Makaveli Tha Don as far back as All Eyez On Me, the Makaveli album was conceived as a sort of introduction for Shakur's alternate stage name. Thus, the album’s sleeve contains the text, "Exit 2Pac, Enter Makaveli".
The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory was recorded and mixed in 7 days in August 1996.

The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory (The Story Behind A Classic)
The year is 1996 and 2Pac is at the top of his career. He’s a platinum-selling artist, already had a number one album, and was destined to do big things further in his career. In February of 1996, we all know that Pac would release his most successful album ever which would be “all eyes on me”. All Eyez on Me would debut at number-one on the Billboard 200 selling 566,000 copies in its first week, becoming 2Pac's second number one album on the chart at the time.
When people talk about 2pac they predominantly talk about this album and I mean it’s a phenomenal album. It’s arguably the best album in his discography but there’s another album that to some can rival that with The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. I can’t say this album is underrated because I mean this album is multiplatinum ...

This documentary focuses on the transition of 2Pac into Makaveli. The mysterious incident that happened at the Mike Tyson fight in Las Vegas in 1996. Tupac Shakur was not only a rapper that had mainstream success, but also many believe he was on his way to be a political leader. To this day, it is still unclear what happened that night in Vegas, and who the shooter is. Reports also show that the FBI watched the shooting but have kept a secret to the public.
This has also created more theories of the Illuminati which was not a mainstream conspiracy theory in the 90's. There is also a new movie staring Johnny Depp as the detective to uncover the truth in the film City of Lies. Shakur sold over 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In Oc...

The Conspiracy Theory That'd Prove Tupac Actually Fled To Cuba
The world lost a rapping legend when Tupac Shakur was shot to death in 1996. While many fans grieved when he died, others refused to believe that the rapper was truly dead. Indeed, often when a celebrity dies, conspiracy theorists are at the ready to come up with an explanation for why that person may still be alive. It happened when Elvis died, it happened when Andy Kaufman died, and naturally, the same happened for Tupac.
There are many different theories alleging that he’s not really dead, but there’s one in particular that is definitely worth checking out. This is the conspiracy theory that’d prove Tupac actually fled to Cuba.

Shakur sold over 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In October 1995, Shakur was released from prison and joined the Death Row label formed by Suge Knight, under which he released the single "California Love". On February 13, 1996, Shakur released his fourth solo album, All Eyez on Me.
This double album was the first and second of his three-album commitment to Death Row Records. It sold more than nine million copies. The record was a general departure from the introspective subject matter of Me Against the World, being more oriented toward a thug and gangsta mentality. 2Pac continued his recordings despite increasing problems at the Death Row label. Dr. Dre left his post as in-house producer to form his own label, Aftermath. Shakur continued to produce hundreds of tracks during his time at Death Row, most of which would be released on his posthumous albums Still I Rise, Until the End of Time, Better Dayz, Loyal to the Game and Pac's Life. During an August 15, 1996, appearance at the Brotherhood Crusade Rally, which featured several artists discussing the importance of voting, Shakur compared the sales of Death Row records to voters in the U.S. and the influence he and other artists had over an adoring fanbase.
