The cartridge was designed by John Browning for early blowback pistols that lacked a breech locking mechanism. The cartridge was designed to duplicate the performance of a .22 Long Rifle cartridge, when fired from a 2" barrel. The .25 caliber was the smallest case Browning could use, and utilize primer pocket, and sufficient rim. The greased, coated lead bullet design, standard for the .22 long rifle of the day, was replaced with a copper jacketed round nose profile for more reliable feeding in auto loading pistols. The bullet weight was typically 50 grains, keeping with the sectional density of the 40 grain .22 caliber bullet. The cartridge is of semi-rimmed design meaning that the rim protrudes slightly beyond the diameter of the base of the cartridge so the cartridge can headspace on the rim. A recessed extractor groove allows an extractor to grab the cartridge reliably. It is the smallest centerfire pistol round in production, and is commonly chambered in small, so-called "vest pocket" pistols. The .25 ACP achieved widespread use after Colt introduced the Browning-designed Fabrique 1905 vest pocket (sometimes referred to as 1906) to the United States as the Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket.
John Browning engineered a number of modern semi-automatic pistol mechanisms and cartridges. As his first pistol cartridge, the .32 ACP needed a straight wall for reliable blowback operation as well as a small rim for reliable feeding from a box magazine. The cartridge headspaces on the rim. The cartridge was a success and was adopted by dozens of countries and countless governmental agencies.
When the .32 ACP cartridge was introduced, it was chambered in a variety of popular blowback automatic pistols of the day, including the Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless, the Savage Model 1907 Automatic Pistol, and the Browning Model 1910 Automatic Pistol. To avoid patent infringement John Pedersen designed the Remington Model 51 so as to not to rely on any other, thus the unique hesitation lock breech mechanism was developed. The .32 ACP has been chambered in more handguns than any other cartridge. Between 1899 and 1909, Fabrique Nationale produced 500,000 guns chambered for .32 ACP.
The Browning Automatic 5, most often Auto-5 or simply A-5, is a recoil-operatedsemi-automatic shotgun designed by John Browning. It was the first successful semi-automatic shotgun design, and remained in production until 1998. The name of the shotgun designates that it is an autoloader with a capacity of five rounds, four in the magazine and one in the chamber.
History
The Browning Auto-5 was the first mass-produced semi-automatic shotgun. Designed by John Browning in 1898 and patented in 1900, it was produced continually for almost 100 years by several makers with production ending in 1998. It features a distinctive high rear end, earning it the nickname "Humpback". The top of the action goes straight back on a level with the barrel before cutting down sharply towards the buttstock. This distinctive feature makes it easy to identify A-5s from a distance. A-5s were produced in a variety of gauges, with 12 and 20 predominating; 16 gauge (not produced between 1976 and 1987) models were also available. The gun saw military service worldwide between World War I and the Vietnam War.
León (Spanish pronunciation:[leˈon]) is a city and municipality in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. It is part of the macroregion of Bajío within the Central Mexican Plateau. It has a strong leather industry, offering shoes, boots, belts, jackets, and other leather accessories both to national and international markets.
In the 2015 preliminary census the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Data Processing (INEGI) reported 1,578,626 people living in the municipality of León, and 1,887,703 in the metropolitan area of León making it the seventh most populous metropolitan area in Mexico. Although not the capital of the State, is considered the "Capital" for Social, Commercial and Government services. The municipality, of which Leon city is only a part, rose to 4th most populous nationwide.
Its first-class services and hotel industry make it one of the most important centers in Mexico with numerous opportunities for entertainment, gastronomy, leisure activities, arts and recreation. It is also considered one of the most environmentally friendly cities in Mexico and has a high number of cyclists, in part because of the integration a network of bike lanes into the SIT system.
The LEON project was started by the European Space Agency (ESA) in late 1997 to study and develop a high-performance processor to be used in European space projects.
The objectives for the project were to provide an open, portable and non-proprietary processor design, capable to meet future requirements for performance, software compatibility and low system cost. Another objective was to be able to manufacture in a Single event upset (SEU) sensitive semiconductor process. To maintain correct operation in the presence of SEUs, extensive error detection and error handling functions were needed. The goals have been to detect and tolerate one error in any register without software intervention, and to suppress effects from Single Event Transient (SET) errors in combinational logic.

Bass Armstrong(バース・アームストロング,Bāsu Āmusutorongu) is a retired professional wrestler and Tina's overprotective father. He is also the widower of Alicia Armstrong, who died of a disease when Tina was only six years old. He disapproves of Tina's aspirations of wanting to be a model (DOA2), a Hollywood actress (DOA3) and a rock star (DOA4). Consequently, he enters the DOA tournaments to put an end to her fame-seeking, only to fail at each attempt. In the fourth tournament, it is revealed that he intends to win so he would have enough money to enter the "Hyper Battle Grand Prix", which he then loses after seeing Tina's picture on a billboard and crashes into it after losing control of his bike. Like Tina in the English versions of the game, he, too, speaks with a Southern accent.
Seat is cushioned in-between Haystacks and High Crag in the North Western Fells. Seat itself has lots of Crags and the summitt is reasonable flat. At the bottom of Seat is Buttermere, Buttermere is a lake that was once joined with Crummock Water to the north. On the other side of Seat is Ennerdale Forest in the Ennerdale Valley. Seat's neighboring mountains include Fleetwith Pike, Haystacks, High Crag, High Stile, Red Pike and Dodd. Beyond Seat to the north west the land diminish towards the coastal plain of Cumberland.
Ascents
The most common ascent would be from the south end of Buttermere, From Gatesgarth Farm, cross the road from the Farm Car park and out towards the accent at the bottom of Haystacks. People would normally ascend Haystacks first then go on to Seat, then onto High Crag then High Stile, Red Pike, Dodd and then back alongside the lake back to the Farm. The other main ascent is the opposite, starting at the bottom of the lake from the village of Buttermere and up past Dodd to Red Pike then to High Stile, then High Crag, then finally onto Seat. Other ascents which are less common include the ascent via Scarth Gap from Ennerdale Forest.
If you've been following our Pocket Pistols series, you might have noticed a recurring theme: these so-called "mouse gun" calibers are not nearly as useless as the prevailing wisdom suggests. .32 ACP is no exception. While it's fallen out of favor in recent years, even in a pocket pistol role, .32 ACP offers a clear benefit in reduced recoil (allowing quicker and more accurate shooting) over the more popular .380 ACP while the reduction in ballistic effectiveness is minimal.
In this overview of .32 ACP as a self-defense caliber, we're taking a quick look at its history, range performance, ballistic gel testing, and modern pocket pistols chambered for this caliber.

Mouse guns are a favorite of mine, but I like the calibers more than the guns themselves sometimes. The .32 ACP, or the 7.65 Browning, is a great little caliber used by police and militaries through WWII and beyond. The Beretta Tomcat 3032 chambered in .32 ACP or 7.65 Browning is a modern pocket auto that has a lot to offer. We take a look at the Beretta Tomcat in .32 ACP but also some historical pocket autos and military / police pistols chambered for this caliber.

We take a look at the Beretta Tomcat in .32 ACP but also some historical pocket autos and military / police pistols chambered for this caliber.

.380 ACP is all the rage these days for pocket semi-autos, but the humble .32 ACP still has its fair share of loyal fans. Based on the results of our latest batch of ballistic gelatin testing, we're looking at the best self-defense ammo for this caliber.

Two calibers that are often written off as obsolete or ineffective are .30 Carbine and .32 ACP. We take two different modern loads for each caliber to put them to the test with FBI ballistics gel. The outcome may surprise you.

Mauser is much more well known for their long guns than their hand guns, but in this installment of TFBTV we look at a very prolific early 20th century handgun made by the Mauser company in significant quantities. This is the Mauser 1914, which was a very popular pistol back in the day.
