My Friend is a 1986 compilation album containing the works of American pop star Neil Sedaka. It was dedicated to Sedaka's lifelong friend and songwriting partner, Howard Greenfield, who died of AIDS-related complications that year. The album was issued on the Polydor label.
"My Friend" is a song by English electronica duo Groove Armada, released as the second single released from their third studio album, Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub). The song features vocals by Celetia Martin and contains a sample from "Gotta Learn How to Dance" by Fatback Band and samples a drum break from Skull Snaps' "It's a New Day". The lyrics are an interpolation from Brandy's 1995 hit "Best Friend". The song was featured in a Dutch television commercial for Royal Clubsoft drinks in 2002, which resulted in a re-release of the single in the Netherlands and a higher charting in the Dutch singles charts than the year before.

It sold over a million copies and became her third highest-selling single. When she died, it was elected as her third best song on the Oricon polls.
Dear... is The Grace's second Japanese album released on January 9, 2009. The title track "Sukoshi de Ikara" (少しでいいから) (A Little Bit of Good) was used as the movie "Subaru" soundtrack song. Tenjochiki's second studio album includes 2 singles released from July 2008 in Japan including the B-side of their 7th single "Here": "Near: Thoughtful 1220" and the album consists of a total of 9 tracks. The album peaked #14 on Oricon daily album charts and #37 on the Oricon weekly album charts, charted for 3 weeks and sold 4,734 copies, making their most successful Japanese album so far.
"Dear" is the thirty-third single by Japanese singer Mika Nakashima, released on April 27, 2011. It peaked at number 8 in the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, and sold over 25,000 copies. In May 2011, the song was certified Gold by the RIAJ for digital downloads of over 100,000.
Background
This single marked a comeback for Nakashima, who took a break from performing in October 2010 to seek treatment for her chronic Eustachian tube dysfunction. The title track was the theme song for the Japanese film Yōkame no Semi, in which Mao Inoue played the lead role.
For "Dear", Nakashima again collaborated with Katsuhiko Sugiyama, who wrote and composed her previous single, "Ichiban Kirei na Watashi o".
The coupling tune is a rearranged version of "A Miracle For You", a song from Nakashima's first album, True.
New version of a song originally recorded in 1980 for the album "In The Pocket". Recorded for a Polydor compilation album of the same name and dedicated to the memory of Sedaka's deceased songwriting partner, Howard Greenfield.

Lyrics:
Look at the lady she's the one with the broken heart
Even so she musn't know that I've loved her from the start
She needs a friend now more than a new romance
I'd love to take her in my arms but I can't take the chance
Ooh it's such a sad sad story but there'll be a happy ending
Just you wait and see what I can do, ooooh
When you see a lady cryin' can you blame a guy for tryin'
To move on in and make his dreams come true
I gotta secret but I'm keeping it to myself
I'm bored to tears when my heart hears that she loves someone else
I tell her I'm sorry but it's really just a lie
Cos every time he hurts her I'm so happy I could die
Ooh it's such a sad sad story but there'll be a happy ending
Just you wait and see what ...
