The 1934 Far Eastern Championship Games was the tenth edition of the regional multi-sport event, contested between China, Japan and the Philippines, and was held from 16–20 May in Manila, the Philippines. A total of eight sports were contested during the four-day competition. The Dutch East Indies (Indonesia) participated at the games, becoming only the second nation outside of the traditional three to send a delegation to the event (after India in 1925).
Official women's events featured on the programme for the first time. Although some women's activities had been included since 1921, this marked the first occasion that women's sports were given parity with men's contest and were treated as part of the official medal count and points tables. The swimming programme featured at least four different events for women.
China won its ninth straight title in the football competition.
This was the last Far Eastern Championship Games. Poor relations between China and Japan disrupted the working of the Far Eastern Athletic Association (the organising body for the games). Before the games, Japanese delegations repeatedly suggested to the Chinese that Manchukuo compete as an independent team at the forthcoming competition. This greatly angered the Chinese, given that Manchukuo had been operated as a puppet state following the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1931. The 11th Far Eastern Championship Games was scheduled to be held in 1938 in Osaka, Japan, but was cancelled after the 1937 outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War. Given the warring of two of its three member nations, the Far Eastern Athletic Association was rendered defunct.
The 1919 Far Eastern Games was the fourth edition of the regional multi-sport event, contested between China, Japan and the Philippines, and was held from 12–16 May 1919 in Manila, the Philippines. A total of eight sports were contested over the course of the five-day event.
In the football competition, China was represented by South China AA, a Hong Kong-based team.
The 1917 Far Eastern Championship Games was the third edition of the regional multi-sport event, contested between China, Japan and the Philippines, and was held from 8–12 May 1917 in Tokyo, Empire of Japan. A total of eight sports were contested, following the dropping of cycling from the programme after the 1915 games.
In the football competition, China was represented by South China AA, a Hong Kong-based team.
The 1915 Far Eastern Championship Games was the second edition of the regional multi-sport event, contested between China, Japan and the Philippines, and was held from 15–22 May 1915 in Shanghai, Republic of China. A total of nine sports were contested – the inclusion of cycling increased the total from the eight held at the first edition. This marked the first time that the event was held under its Far Eastern Championship Games moniker, followed a change from the naming as the Oriental Olympic Games in 1913.
In the football competition, China was represented by South China AA, a Hong Kong-based team.

The HORRIFIC Execution Of The Female Torturer Of Stutthof Concentration Camp
One of the most terrible concentration camps of the Second World War was Stutthof, which opened almost straight after the Germans invaded Poland. Inside the camp, disease spread very quickly and the prisoners were guarded over by a number of terrifying guards including a number of female guards who were known for their brutality and evil. One of those women that treated the prisoners awfully was Ewa Paradies, who was notorious within the prisoner population.
Ewa Paradies was brought to Stutthof late in the war as many women were drafted there to oversee the inmates. But on a daily basis she would beat inmates, and torture them horrifically. She forced many to stand outside in the cold and threw freezing cold water at them. But after the war she was sentenced to death at the Stutthof Trial...
