Mind is a mental healthcharity in England and Wales. Founded in 1946 as the National Association for Mental Health (NAMH), it celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2006.
Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf. It also works to raise public awareness and understanding of issues relating to mental health. Since 1982, it has awarded an annual prize for "Book of the Year" having to do with mental health, in addition to three other prizes
Over 180 local Mind associations (independent, affiliated charities) provide services such as supported housing, floating support schemes, care homes, drop-in centres and self-help support groups. Local Mind associations are often very different in size, make up and character—it is a common misconception that they all work to the same policy and procedural framework. Mind is a national brand but all local associations are unique, although they do all sign up to certain shared aims and ethical guidelines.
"Mind" was a single by Liverpool-based pop group The Farm, released as the first single off their second album Love See No Colour. It was released on 12 August 1991, having been produced by Graham "Suggs" McPherson of Madness. The single peaked at #31 on the UK Singles Chart.
In Iain M. Banks' Culture series, most larger starships, some inhabited planets and all orbitals have their own Minds: sentient, hyperintelligent machines originally built by biological species, which have evolved, redesigned themselves, and become many times more intelligent than their original creators.
These Minds have become an indispensable part of the Culture, enabling much of its post-scarcity amenities by planning and automating society (controlling day-to-day administration with mere fractions of their mental power). The main feature of these Minds—in comparison to extremely powerful artificial intelligences in other fiction—is that the Minds are (by design and by extension of their rational, but "humanistic" thought processes) generally a very benevolent presence, and show no wish to supplant or dominate their erstwhile creators. Though this is commonly viewed in a utopian light, a view where the human members of the Culture amount to little more than pets is not unsupportable.
Dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals of the cladeDinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, 231.4million years ago, and were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for 135million years, from the start of the Jurassic (about 200million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous (66million years ago), when the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event led to the extinction of most dinosaur groups at the end of the Mesozoic Era. Until the late 20th century, all groups were believed to be extinct; however, the fossil record indicates that birds are modern feathered dinosaurs, having evolved from theropod ancestors during the Jurassic Period. As such, birds were the only dinosaurs to survive the mass extinction event.
The film follows an Iguanodon named Aladar who, as the friend of the lemurs, after surviving the devastating meteor, are moving out for their new home. Along the way, they befriend and reunite the remaining herd of dinosaurs who are being pursued by the predators, such as the Carnotaurus, while on a journey to the "Nesting Grounds".
While the main characters in Dinosaur are computer-animated, most of the film's backgrounds were filmed on location. A number of backgrounds were found in Canaima National Park in Venezuela; various tepuis and Angel Falls also appear in the film. It is the second film (after Fantasia 2000) produced by Disney Animation Studios to feature computer-generated three-dimensional animation. At officially $127.5 million, it was the most expensive theatrical film release of the year. The film was a financial success, grossing over $349 million worldwide in total box office revenue, becoming the fifth highest-grossing film of 2000.
In the attraction, guests board vehicles called Time Rovers and are taken on a turbulent journey through the Cretaceous period, featuring prehistoric scenes populated with audio-animatronic dinosaurs. Originally named Countdown to Extinction, the ride's name was later changed to DINOSAUR to promote the Disney animatedfilm of the same name, even though the attraction has never contained any explicit references to the film. However, the two dinosaurs most prominently featured in the ride have always been an Iguanodon and Carnotaurus, which were both featured prominently in the film. Scenes from the movie also appear in the pre-show, to help the guests identify the Iguanodon as the film's protagonist, Aladar.
The attraction
Pre-show
Guests enter the Dino Institute, a state-of-the-art paleontological research facility. After moving through the queue area, which features real dinosaur remains (including a Carnotaurus skeleton) and a background narration by Bill Nye the Science Guy, they are taken to a room where they watch a pre-show video. The ride's pre-show film director is Jerry Rees, best known for his animated film The Brave Little Toaster. It was written by Steve Spiegel, with Reed Smoot as director of photography.
A fact is something that has really occurred or is actually the case. The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability—that is, whether it can be demonstrated to correspond to experience. Standard reference works are often used to check facts. Scientific facts are verified by repeatable careful observation or measurement (by experiments or other means).
Etymology and usage
The word fact derives from the Latin factum, and was first used in English with the same meaning: a thing done or performed, a meaning now obsolete. The common usage of "something that has really occurred or is the case" dates from the middle of the sixteenth century.
Fact is sometimes used synonymously with truth, as distinct from opinions, falsehoods, or matters of taste. This use is found in such phrases as, "It is a fact that the cup is blue" or "Matter of fact", and "...not history, nor fact, but imagination." Filmmaker Werner Herzog distinguishes clearly between the two, claiming that "Fact creates norms, and truth illumination."

Culture Club ~ Church Of The Poison Mind 1983 Soul Purrfection Version
Church Of The Poison Mind. The song is about a couple who part after being in love and the daggers that sometimes fly.
They took a serious situation and made it real pretty, sounding as soulful as anything Motown ever put out to a gospel beat. Aretha would have killed this one! Helen Terry does an excellent job in her place though helping the song sparkle.
The first single off of "Colour By Numbers" their absolute peak commercially. The album was a gold mine of music that I lived to that summer of 83 with Church Of The Poison Mind being my favorite. It broke in Canada a bit before the US caught on and when it did, they were everywhere just like David Bowie was.
While the #1 "Karma Chameleon" also was a sterling example of blue eyed soul with the gospelish vocalizing of Boy George ov...

While the #1 "Karma Chameleon" also was a sterling example of blue eyed soul with the gospelish vocalizing of Boy George over the energetic musical performances.
I think they mean it when they say its about a dividing couple. Squabbling couples are no fun to be around until they work out their balance or move on. It is then easy to understand how much one can poison their own mind in a romantic relationship. Deep thoughts about a simple pop track.....
