We found that many videos lack the details we needed, such as parking, restrooms, available services, and even sidewalk quality. We act as your “port scout”, providing first-hand reports on essential information that others overlook; our videos cover port terminals, independent excursions, goods, services, transportation and even ship tours. Tourism is important in "Kristiansand", and the summer season is the most popular for tourists. "Kristiansand Zoo" and "Amusement park" is the largest zoo in Norway. The city hosts a free weekly concert in downtown "Kristiansand" in the summertime. Outside the city is the industrial park "Sørlandsparken", which includes "Sørlandssenteret", Norway's largest mall. "Kristiansand" is partitioned into 18 parts and 217 subparts. The city is also divided into 5 boroughs.
With the development of hydropower in southern Norway, the city gradually developed an industrial base, particularly with the establishment in 1910 of the nickel refinery "Kristiansands Nikkelraffineringsverk AS" (later Falconbridge Nikkelverk, now Glencore Nikkelverk). From an economic perspective, the First World War was a good time for Kristiansand, as a neutral shipping city. The crises that followed the gold standard politics of the 1920s and the world economic crisis of the 1930s were also deeply felt in a trading city like "Kristiansand". "Kristiansand" has a temperate oceanic climate. The coastal parts of the "Skagerrak coast", which includes "Kristiansand", are the sunniest part of Norway. Snow generally occurs in late December and in January and February; it may be heavy (the snow record at Kjevik airport is 170 centimeters (67 in)) but rarely stays long on the coast.
Let's watch Norwegian's everyday life by walking around the city center and enjoying the summer vibes of "Kristiansand" on a beautiful sunny day in July 2024!!

Discover with us the most amazing things to do in Kristiansand & Top Kristiansand attractions. Welcome to Kristiansand – the capital of Southern Norway and one of the most popular summer tourist destinations in the country.
The must-visit place is the Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park which belongs to the most visited attractions in whole Norway and tops Norwegian children's bucket list. You can find here 800 animals including lemurs and monkeys and the collection of animals is the largest in Norway.
Another park’s attraction - Cardamom Town – is based on a well-known children's story written by the famous Norwegian author Thorbjørn Egner. Children can enjoy many attractions including a tower in which old and wise Tobias is predicting the weather.
You cannot miss white-sand city beach named Bystranda with swim pier, sun deck and even palm trees. It is a great place to be during warm summer months and when it gets cold, visit Aquarama Waterpark located right next to the beach. It is a great place for adventure, sports and wellness.
Travel back in time thanks to the Open Air Museum at Kongsgård. It consists of 34 old houses and some of them date back to 1580. You will have an opportunity to see how Norwegians used to live centuries ago. Guided tours are also available.
