In Greek mythology, the Limnads (/ˈlɪmnædz, -nədz/; Ancient Greek: Λιμνάδες) or Limnatides (Ancient Greek: Λιμνατιδες) or Leimenids (/ˈlaɪmɪnɪdz/; Ancient Greek: Λειμενίδες) were a type of naiad.[citation needed]
