Welcome to Lost in Translation.

My name is Jessica Spengler, and I have been a freelance translator and proofreader since 1997. I am a native English speaker (American) and a member of the American Translators Association. I have lived, studied, and worked in Germany for a total of 14 years.

Translation is my profession because language is my passion. Luckily for me, this age of cross-cultural communication has made language and the written word more important than ever. Luckily for you, there are professional translators such as myself who are absolutely dedicated to helping you communicate successfully on an international level.

Successful communication calls for clean, clear language and high-quality texts which will reflect positively on their source - you. As a professional translator, I can enable your words and ideas to cross cultural boundaries and reach their intended audience.
