Guidelines – PLEASE READ

Thanks for your interest in our calendar! We are glad you want to share your events with Seattle visitors, and welcome your submissions.

We include:

Arts and cultural events in the greater Seattle area, such as concerts, theater, festivals, author readings, professional dance performances, museum/art gallery exhibitions, and professional sports events.

Events must be open to the public and likely to interest potential visitors.

We don’t include:

Meetings and conferences, commercial, sales & promotional events, industry trade shows, membership and networking events and most fundraisers. Events happening outside King County will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Our focus is on live, in-person events in King County. Hybrid online/live cultural events produced by King County organizations are also accepted.

Currently we are unable to include classes and educational workshops.

How to Submit Events for Consideration

Event information must be received at least three weeks in advance; earlier is preferred. Listings are free and inclusion is up to the discretion of Visit Seattle.

There are two ways to submit, choose what works best for you:

1. Submit easily via email

Press releases or calendar listings may be sent to our content management partners by email to [email protected].

OR

2. Submit online using the form on this page

Please submit a brief (40-50 word) description, and all required fields. You will receive an email confirming your submission was received.

Choose the form or email, no need to do both. 

Publication Timeline: Please note that there is a content management process and events will not immediately appear in the calendar. Qualifying events are typically published about two weeks after we receive your information.
