  • 8:44 am, Graffiti, Lot 6. Contacted Transportation Services regarding graffiti reported on door closer on door at top of SW stairwell.
  • 9:51 am, Motor Vehicle Accident, Lot 13. Contact made with person who sideswiped another vehicle by the Alicia Ashman bridge on Campus Dr while driving eastbound.
  • 3:11 pm, Other, Location Redacted. Contacted regarding a sensitive crime – investigation ongoing at this time.
  • 6:56 pm, Fraud, Vilas Hall. Contacted person regarding possible fraudulent activity with donations.
  • 11:28 pm, Other, Park & Braxton. Traffic Stop - Stopped & Verbally Warned person for Exceeding Posted Limit, odor of marijuana detected and unprompted admission of marijuana being previously smoked in the vehicle.
  • 11:47 pm, Eluding, Charter& Dayton Streets. Contacted/Cited/Arrested/Transported/Released to Dane County Jail suspect after being located in UW Building after UWPD attempted to stop vehicle, eluded traffic stop for improper turn, deviation from designated lane, and passing at an intersection.
  • 12:42 am, Theft/Larceny, Residence Hall. Contacted person after they reported their Uber Eats order had been stolen.

The UWPD Equity Dashboard is the result of a collaboration with community members and stakeholders to develop a unique and powerful tool that promotes transparency and provides a set of success metrics that speak directly to the UWPD’s commitment to equity in policing.
