Mail Services

The Mail Room staff sorts the mail to more than 150 University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics mail stops. For outgoing mail, our staff uses a presort facility that applies bar codes, resulting in expedited service and additional postage discounts.

For FedEx and UPS packages, please contact the Shipping and Receiving Office.

The Mail Room sorts and delivers incoming U.S. and University of Iowa campus mail and collects outgoing mail.

Mail is delivered to the hospital five times per day by Central Mail Service. 

Mail that is dropped off after 2:45 p.m. will be postmarked the following business day.
