Effective business writing should be professional content that is clear, concise, and consumable. Examples of business writing include emails, presentations, how-to documents, proposals, department manuals, assessments, and externally facing web content. In this course, participants will learn plain language guidelines, common grammar and usage errors to avoid, punctuation conventions, and how to format documents to enhance readability and appeal to audiences of varying levels of expertise.
