Is it the U, the UW, or the U-Dub? Designed for a range of employees new to the University of Washington, higher education, or perhaps state government work, this course establishes a basic understanding of structures that govern the UW and helps participants identify the culture in their workplace and understand its impact. Gain an appreciation of the nuanced workings of a multi-campus university; explore common errors of leading, managing or supporting a culture; and learn how to design (or adapt) a culture that better creates the conditions to practice your values and achieve desired outcomes.
