In the workplace, individual success depends not just on how well you do your job, but on how well your supervisor does theirs. Your efforts influence their success as much as theirs influence yours. When the relationship between you and your supervisor suffer, so does your performance.

Managing Up is designed to help you understand your supervisor’s operating styles in order to anticipate needs, communicate better and utilize strengths to make your supervisor’s life easier. However, you’ll find that supporting them, in turn, benefits you. By forging a smoother working relationship you’ll experience less conflict, make a positive impression on your supervisor, and make yourself an invaluable employee.
