Description:
For many of us, the term "conflict" generates a negative emotional response. When faced with a conflict—be that a minor disagreement or a major dispute—we want nothing other than to turn or run away. But to effectively handle conflict, we must overcome any potential dislike of it and recognize that it's inevitable. In this course, participants learn to face conflict, gain tools to manage it, and turn it into positive change. Participants explore communication skills for dealing with conflict, problem solving in the midst of a conflict, giving and receiving feedback, and coaching others in handling conflict.
