Learning to Lead (Q0200)
Live online session
Class content will be delivered via live Zoom session(s) with supplemental materials.
Description:
Most supervisors would prefer to be known as great leaders rather than excellent supervisors. In this course, participants discover their own leadership potential through group discussion and thought-provoking exercises; learn to understand the sources of leadership power, the primary ways to handle resistance to change, and the difference between supervisors and leader/supervisors; and gain skill in building relationships based on trust, developing and communicating a team or organizational vision, and motivating employees with positive reinforcement.
