Description:

This course is designed for individuals who have been "promoted from within." With a focus on the unique challenges of moving from peer to supervisor, this class provides participants with opportunities to discuss the assumptions, hopes, and concerns associated with their transition. In addition, participants learn the importance of clarifying their new role, how to clearly delineate their change in status, and ways to deal effectively with the impact of the transition on their work group.
