Generous contributions from different organizations aimed at supporting students pursuing their dreams. As much as $10,000 per individual seeking a four-year degree was awarded to deserving seniors.
Among these scholarships, the WNC Bridge Foundation Health Occupation Scholarship stood out, designed to provide financial aid to those venturing into the healthcare industry. Another outstanding scholarship was the Nallenwag Student-Athlete Scholarship, which offered assistance to student-athletes in their pursuit of higher education.
Additionally, the Buncombe County Schools Foundation (BCSF) played a pivotal role in granting several scholarships during the ceremony. BCSF, a prominent philanthropic organization, tirelessly raises funds for both teachers and students alike. Their unwavering commitment is evident in the staggering amount of over $500,000 awarded to Buncombe County Schools every year.
