Arsenal looked tentative early in the game and Chelsea looked more dangerous but things changed towards the end of the first half. A goal by Havertz was disallowed for offside. The second half was dominated by Arsenal and the first goal came through excellent play by Odegaard with a great finish by Martinelli. Madueke was withdrawn and Neto was moved to the right wing and he scored as the Arsenal defense was slow to react to his movement from the right to the middle of the field. A goal by Jackson was disallowed for a clear offside. At the death, a cross from the left by an advanced Saliba could have produced the winner but Trossard had a touch, preventing Havertz or Jesus from scoring.
