Opisthokont

Professionally, I’m a journeyman biologist (the name “Opisthokont” is a reference to such interests; you’re welcome to ask me about that). Avocationally, I’m a multi-instrumentalist on strings (bass, guitar, mando, uke, violin) and occasional woodwinds (principally but not exclusively recorder) who has discovered the tinwhistle, which has since come to dominate my practice time (being able to take it everywhere helps!). I’ve always enjoyed ITM but hadn’t thought about playing it until recently (the tinwhistle was my gateway drug there). I’m based in Prague at the moment, where there’s not a lot of ITM going around. That said, I’m still pretty new to this, and I still have a lot of tunes to learn, for which this repository has been amazing.
