Boxwood shares and explores the roots and branches of musical traditions in an immersive approach that integrates music, dance, language and crafts in outreach programs for adults, kids and professionals. Since 1995 Boxwood has fulfilled this mission with programs rich with hands-on, in-depth experiences. We present festivals in Canada, New Zealand and Australia, educational outreach, concerts, and a variety of media including sound, video and the web. The Boxwood Festival Society is a volunteer non-profit organization in Canada.
