Today I am sharing a charming collection of Pictures of Chrysanthemums. These are some gorgeous Fall Mums Flower pictures… although they are lovely enough to include in your projects for any time of the year! These are all high resolution images that would be perfect to use in Decoupage Projects, Collage work, Junk Journals or other types of Fall Crafts or DIYs.

The flowers above were scanned from a Circa 1855 Botanical Book! Included in this bouquet are some bright yellow Chrysanthemums (so cheerful looking)! and a purple Scabiosa Flower. The original was actually quite a mess; it was filthy, and the color had run all over it. It was missing color in some places as well. So you are getting the new and improved cleaned up version!

Pictures of Mums Flowers Yellow This picture of a Chrysanthemum shows a lovely bright yellow happy looking bloom! I could see using this one with the orange one down below to create a beautiful collage.

Here we have a lovely Vintage Chrysanthemum Floral Spray Graphic! This image of mauve and gold mums has some creamy white berries and graduating shades of green foliage. It actually resembles an old theorem stencil or tole painting image that would have been done on a metal tray or piece of furniture.

This is a Pretty Vintage Yellow Mums Image! The color is so rich it almost looks like gold. I just love the fun little crumpled paper or draped fabric background behind them. I can’t really tell which it is. Can you tell? It is held in place by two pins or nails on a faded green card. These are from an Antique greeting card. These flowers are so happy and cheerful looking!

Purple and Gold Mums

Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here is a lovely display of purple and gold Mums. So pretty!

Mums in Planter Next we have a lovely display of these flowers in a ceramic planter. I like the Fall tones in this one.

Shown here are some pretty Chrysanthemums with a whitish/pinkish coloration to the petals! They have a fun little draped fabric or crumpled paper background behind them. The card has a nice gray tone. These are also from an Antique greeting card.

 Shown are some pretty deep Red Mums with fluffy Yellow centers. They have the fun light tan crumpled paper or fabric background behind them with another Antique greeting card of teal. This one is special indeed!

I just love this Fall Chrysanthemum picture! Here is a very nice vintage floral postcard! This one shows some gorgeous orange and gold Mums on a creamy background. There is a little Banner in the center, where you could write a message on it. This one would be really cool to set atop a plate on your holiday table!

This is another new one to this set. This is a bright orange beauty that goes very nicely with the one above. Such perfect Fall tones!

 

Mums Flowers Trade Card

Fall Mums Card Shown above is a sweet little trade card that is illustrated with some pinky red blossoms and the name of the species along the bottom edge. Pretty!

    Hi Karen,
    I absolutely adore the newest one! I can just picture a couple of these placed in front of a cafe in a Tuscan villa in Italy! I just had some mums planted along a side sidewalk with pale yellow, pale peach and pale purple flowers. They are such a sturdy perennial and they always look so good! I wasn’t aware that they grow so big when you have mulch down. I can’t wait until the area fills up nicely!

    Hi Karen,

    This is such a lovely collection and so fitting for this time of year! I was wondering about the second graphic – thanks for mentioning the berries in there! I couldn’t quite put my finger on what they were but it’s one of my favourite floral graphics.
    I also love all of the soft white-pinkish tones of the others. These are all so pretty! I have noticed a lot of frontal landscapes with mums this season – wow, they look so vibrant and rich!

    Wow! You are so good at historical restoration, witness the “cleaning up” of the first chrysanthemum image! Makes me wish you would post before & after clips of these particularly dirty/ damaged discovered GEMS. Thank you for all the great work!
