The Plaguebringer set is a vanity set consisting of the Plaguebringer's Skull, the Plaguebringer's Cloak, and the Plaguebringer's Treads. It is one of the six sets that were added as part of the Journey's End Vanity Contest; the original concept was submitted by SodaHunter.
Crafting the set requires materials that can only be found in the Crimson. Its Corruption counterpart is the Timeless Traveler's set.
It is possible for the player to create an artificial Crimson biome in a Corrupt world by purchasing Crimson Seeds from the Dryad in a Graveyard during Hardmode to get the materials necessary to make this set.
When the full set is worn, it displays a special set animation of Cursed Flames emitting from it. The color of the flames will change according to the dye applied to the cloak.

Trivia[]
- The tooltip for the helmet is a reference to the multiplayer first-person shooter video game Destiny, and Destiny 2, as Ahamkara are a form of dragon in the game. It is also worth noting that an NPC from the game, the Drifter, often says "Trust!" at the end of sentences.
- Strangely, this set is crafted from Crimson materials, yet it visually emits Cursed Flames, which (in item form) are only found in the Corruption.
