Gianmarco Onestini is a contestant from Supervivientes 2021.

Though successful on Italian TV for some time, Gianmarco arrived on the show largely unknown to the Spanish public, yet viewers were soon charmed by his smooth charisma and authenticity. Social media fans started to clamour for him, and he gained a large fanbase among viewers. At the final, all but one (who herself attempted to pass before answering) of the former contestants on the set for the finale wanted Gianmarco to win, yet he lost the public vote to Olga Moreno in a vote shrouded in controversy.

Gianmarco Onestini (Bolonia, 1996) es un enamorado del deporte, lo más importante del mundo para él es su familia y está estudiando Derecho. Ha trabajado como colaborador de televisión y como modelo.

El italiano es todo un experto en realities: tuvo una intensa atracción con Adara Molinero en GH VIP 7, ganó El tiempo del descuento y vivió varias semanas en el pisito de Solo.

Su historia con Adara fue una de las más intensas que hemos vivido en los últimos tiempos. Iniciaron un acercamiento cuando los dos convivían en Guadalix de la Sierra, aunque ella tenía pareja. A pesar de todo se besaron. Pero al salir la cosa no cuajó, hicieron duras declaraciones del otro y se distanciaron… hasta que entraron en El tiempo del descuento. El roce hace el cariño y redescubrieron la atracción que habían perdido. Iniciaron una relación que acabó de malas maneras por el tonteo de Adara con su compañero en GH 17, Rodri Fuertes, que es su actual novio.^[2]

Supervivientes[]

Gianmarco came to the show unknown to many but showed himself to be a strong contestant (although it took him time to win an immunity challenge). His authenticity and very stereotypically Italian demeanour endeared him to both viewers and contestants, especially eventual winner Olga Moreno and fellow Italian Valeria Marini,^[3] yet irritated Tom Brusse and Lola Mencía. However, fans credited him for resolving his issues peacefully.^[4]

His main moment which won him plaudits was his reward challenge win, where he won a video call with friends and family: his happiness was clear and the emotion he showed endeared him to viewers even more.^[5]

The final, however, added flavour to a largely forgettable series: Gianmarco, who had the support of the panel on the show, lost unexpectedly to his friend Olga.^[6] While Gianmarco was not unhappy to lose the final, it was reported that many of his voters by text especially failed to go through, while Olga’s voters seemingly counted.

Post-Supervivientes[]

Gianmarco started a modelling career after his time on the show, yet later stayed out of the limelight, going on to study Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. However, he did return to support his partner Adara Molinero in 2024 on Supervivientes: All Stars, and continues to often tour Spain and Italy as a DJ. He has also supported CESIDA, an organisation supporting HIV patients.^[7]
