Expeditie Robinson 2005 is the sixth season of the Dutch/Belgian reality television series Expeditie Robinson. This season began airing on September 5, 2005, and concluded on November 28, 2005.

Marnix Allegaert defeated Emma Bossche and Marleen Moer in a jury vote of 16–9–3 to become the Sole Survivor.

Twists

• Old vs. Young: Jong consisted of castaways aged younger than 30, and Oud consisted of castaways aged 40 and over.
• Secret Island: Two castaways, both in their 30s, started the game on Secret Island as part of a secret tribe. These two castaways were soon joined by another castaway who had been voted out immediately after a challenge. The inhabitants of Secret Island would join the main game at the Day 7 Tribe Switch.
• Day 1 Elimination: At the start of the game, all castaways had to each stand on a platform while holding onto two ropes to the left and right of them, imitating a crucifixion. The last castaway to remain standing would win immunity for their tribe, while the losing tribe would have to choose someone to eliminate whilst on a boat travelling to their camp. It would later be revealed that this castaway would be sent to Secret Island, unbeknownst to the other castaways.
• Tribe Switch: On Day 7, a Tribe Switch occurred, disbanding the Old vs. Young twist. Secret Island was also disbanded, with its three inhabitants joining the game at the Tribe Switch. The two tribes would become known as North Team and South Team respectively.
• Winner's Island: When a castaway won immunity, they would be sent to Winner's Island following the next Tribal Council. Once three castaways inhabited Winner's Island, the most recent winner of immunity would battle one of the two other inhabitants in a duel to determine who would stay on Winner's Island. All castaways on Winner's Island did not attend Tribal Council, and were immune from elimination.
• More Votes: A new voting system was put in place at the merge in which each castaway was given six votes that they could cast at any time they wish. If any of these votes were not cast by a castaway who made it to the Final Three, all of their remaining votes would automatically transfer to jury votes for themselves.
• Penalty Votes: At two different Individual Immunity Challenges, the castaway who finished in last would receive a penalty vote at the upcoming Tribal Council.
• Semi-final Challenge: At the final four, the castaways competed in a challenge. The loser would be eliminated, while the winners would form the Final Three.
• Jury Vote Format: The jury format this season underwent several changes. The six jury members would vote as normal, each of the finalist's unused votes would transfer as votes for themselves and a public vote would occur. The castaway who received the highest number of total votes would be declared the winner.
