The Nest app uses the postcode or ZIP code you entered in the app to determine which country your home is in. Your homeâs country in turn decides your email language.
If you choose an email language in the Nest app thatâs unsupported in your homeâs country, your email will still be sent in your countryâs default language. For instance, if your Nest home is in the US, but you pick French in the Nest app, your email language wonât change to French, and you will still receive your emails in English.
Some countries only support one email language, and some allow you to change your email language.
- Open the Nest app or go to home.nest.com if youâre on a computer.
- Tap Settings Notifications.
- Under Home Notifications, tap Nest Home Report.
- Select a language that is supported in your homeâs country.
