If you tried to pay for a phone in full when you signed up for Google Fi and your card was declined, youâll need to update your payment info on payments.google.com within 7 days to avoid a cancellation of your order.
Update your payment info
If your card was declined, youâll receive an email telling you that your order has been put on hold and youâll need to update your payment info. To update it, just click the link in the email.
If you canât locate your email, you can follow these steps:
- Go to payments.google.com and sign in with the account you used to sign up for Google Fi.
- Youâll see a notification at the top of the screen. Select âUpdate payment method informationâ and follow the steps.
Update your payment info within 7 days
To prevent your order from being canceled, youâll need to provide valid payment information within 7 days. Once youâve updated your payment information, you can confirm that your order is being processed by checking your pending orders or clicking the link to your online receipt in the email.
