If you tried to sign in, but can't remember your username, we can try to find it for you with the information you provided when you signed up.
Recover your username
- If we can find an account that matches: Weâll ask you to verify that youâre the owner. Answer any additional questions as best as possible. Learn more about lost account recovery.
- If we canât find an account that matches: Weâll let you know. Double-check for typos, or try a different email address or phone number. If weâre still unable to find a match, you can create a new account.
Once inside of your account, you can manage email addresses.
âCouldnât find accountâ error during sign in
If youâve previously signed up for a Google Account, and canât remember the username or email address that you used, you can try to recover it.
Follow the steps in the preceding section to recover your account.
An email address canât be used to sign up for more than one Google Account. If this email address belongs to you, it's possible that:
- Youâve already signed up for a Google Account: Follow the account recovery instructions in the top section for help.
- You have a Google Workspace visitor session linked to this email address. If youâre invited to collaborate on Google Drive files as a visitor, with your email and a PIN, youâll need to delete this visitor session before your email address is used to sign up for a new account.
