The Xim Thrones were nine worlds that were—or in the case of one of them, were proclaimed to be—politically and ceremonially central to the empire of the Tionese conqueror Xim. They were, in order, Argai, Chandaar, Cadinth, Desevro, Thanium, Yutusk, Huronom, Astigone, and Sleheyron. The concept of the Xim Thrones evolved out of the Four Thrones of Cron, a term used in the realm of Xim's father, Xer VIII.[1]
